This auction is for a true dream car, a 2009 BMW Z4 Roadster. This is the stunning E89 Body-Style and boy, is it ever gorgeous. As many of you already know, 2009 was the first year for this sleek and sexy E89 body-style. As such, they certainly stand out!! Every time this car leaves the garage, I get thumbs up, stares and people asking what it is. So, this is sure to be a unique and fun experience for its new owner! If you didn’t know this already, an E89 is BMW’s designation for any Z4-Series produced 2009-current. I have owned 26 BMWs vehicles and this one is by far and away my favorite! As you can see, I have always been a BMW guy (I have four of them at the moment), as such I know how to take care of them and always give them the proper care and respect that they deserve. The car in question is a Sapphire Black Metallic (that is the factory BMW name for this color) over a stunning and sophisticated Coral Kansas Leather interior. It has many factory options / option packages that you could get on this model year! When I bought this car, I selected it because of it’s excellent original condition and darn near flaw free appearance. I purchased it as the second owner and bought it Certified Pre-Owned. It was still under the factory bumper-to bumper warranty. When that ran out, the Certified Warranty kicked in. In fact, This car is still under the BMW Certified Warranty program!!! Every addition you will hear described below, I had professionally done myself! Before I get into the couple of additions on this exquisite vehicle, let me explain my vision to you. I fell in-love with the E89 Roadster the moment that they came out in 2009. I waited a couple fo years to see how they faired style and reliability-wise. Once I learned that they (like most all BMWs) were built with impeccable style and exceptional reliability, I started my search. I set out to buy a brand new one but there were only six manual transmissions for sale new in the entire country and neither were equipped the way I desired. I tried to order one but BMW put a hold on ordering, as it was mid-year. So, I set my sights on the perfect pre-owned example. I again couldn’t find a thing after months of searching. One afternoon my local BMW Dealership called and informed me that they just took a car in and it passed the rigorous Certified inspection process. Once I got there and saw the car, I knew I was bringing it home with me! Of course while I was there, a new M3 Convertible caught me eye, so I bought both of them. That sure was a great day! Anyway, after bringing it home, I sat forth in making it the cleanest, most beautiful E89 Z4 Roadster around. So I made the following small and discreet exterior enhancements: De-Badged both fenders (no more chrome ‘3.0i D-Drive’ emblems) De-Badged rear trunk lid (no more chrome ‘Z4’ emblem) Deep tinted rear and all side windows (looks amazing with the Sapphire Black body) Black Carbon Fiber overlays over all exterior Roundels (BMW Emblems) (Hood, Trunk, Fenders & Wheels. These look so sporty with the Sapphire Black paint) BMW Roundel Valve Stem Caps All Black front Kidney Grills With the exterior completed as far as I wanted to take it (subtle, clean and enhance the sporty design), it was time to bring some fresh factory components and some tasteful personal touches to the interior. I kept with the same formula I used on the exterior to handle the interior. Wow, does this interior look amazing!!! With the interior already looking nearly new, it was time to complete the job! That being said, here are the interior additions: Opted for the Aluminum Carbon Fiber M-Sport interior trim (Looks SO much better with the Black and Coral interior then the Burlwood ever did) Full LED interior lighting upgrade (illuminated a bright blue-ish white, all bulbs were upgraded) Black Carbon Fiber overlay on Steering Wheel Roundel (BMW Emblem) Silver Finished trim around the Door Lock Pins (pictured below) I think that is about it for Additions. I really wanted to keep it mostly original looking; clean, simple and beautiful. After giving this car some updated looks, both inside and out, I was done. From there, all that was left was to keep it properly maintained as per BMW’s spesifications! I have had every-single thing done only at BMW Dealerships…..right down to the windshield wipers! All records from brand new will come along with the car to the new owner! You simply cannot go wrong with this beautiful BMW! First off, it is loaded with factory options which can be rare for the Z4. When the E89 came out, they were so pricy that a lot of buyers went for complete base models. It is nearly impossible to find Manual Transmission. I was able to access some BMW Production Records and was quite shocked to learn the rediculosly low number of manual transmissions built (about one out of every 400 cars)! Who knows how many out of that number were equipped exactly like this one. That being considered, this could be a fairly rare car!! This Z looks very original, modern and clean.It has beyond superior handling and a ridiculous amount of power!! As for this car’s mechanical and operational condition, it just doesn’t get better. Everything on this car operates flawlessly and just as it should! There is loads of power, an excellently solid ride, no abnormal noises, rattles or sounds of any kind! This car handles like a dream and shifts ultra smoothly, there are no hidden surprises here, what so ever……just a great driving and perfectly reliable Z4! In the years since this car was brand new, the car has only traveled 65,000 miles!! That averages out to just 9,285 miles a year. The national average is 15,000 per year. So, this car has less then half of the miles that it should!!! It really is absolutely fantastic. As I mentioned earlier, I have receipts for EVERYTHING I have ever done to it. This beauty has a potent 3.0 Liter, In-Line Six Cylinder with ridiculous amounts of Torque. It truly is a fast car. It sounds amazing and screams down the road. It is an incredible sensation to drive this car, rather at speed or in a relaxed and leisurely manner. This silky smooth, powerful engine is mated to a very short throw, performance driven 6-Speed Manual Transmission. Talk about crisp shifting!! Ok, lets talk exterior. This car is straight and true with no body damage what-so-ever.There are no cracks in the trim, dents or anything like that. The seals are all perfect, you won’t see any leaks on this one! All lights and signals function just as they should. The tires are just like new and as such have many, many miles left on them. The tires are High Performance tires and carry a transferable LIFETIME WARRANTY!! Again, because of how ridiculously anal I am, I bought a brand new OEM Antenna. The original had a small mark on it and that wasn’t acceptable. I upgraded to the ‘Sport Antenna’, which is shorter and more sleek then the standard unit. All in all, an AMAZING looking and performing Roadster! On to the Interior. What can I say? The interior is ridiculously close to flawless! You will not find a single scratch, crack, smell, or any other type of imperfection! This interior is immaculate! Now, there is one small blemish on the bottom of the passenger seat. It is not a rip or anything like that. It is a mark from someone with a button on their pants getting into the car. My local detailing shop said that they can remove it. I have conditioned all of the leather every single month! The car also gets washed every other week and gets fully detailed once a month. It has never been parked outdoors. I have never driven the car as a daily driver. It typically gets driven about once every three months. If I’m not driving it, I still pull it out of the garage to detail it and then pull it right back in. I am that crazy about this car!! I know it’s a small detail but it also shows how nit-picky I am with the car, I even have the original cigarette lighter AND the original Black Cap. So you can choose what look you like best for the center console. Not too shabby huh? Lets talk about all of the Options & Packages it has. Here we go: Cold Weather Package (3-level heated seats, headlight washers) Premium Package (Kansas leather, garage door opener; coming home features, auto-dimming rear view mirror, auto-dimming driver & passenger door mirrors, ambient light package, dual power seats, driver seat memory, BMW assist) Park Distance Control / PDC (front and rear parking sensors with programmable volume and on/off button) Metallic Paint As you can see, this car is set-up to provide years and years of reliable enjoyment!! I am only selling it as I ordered a brand new Roadster last week! I have all of the original Owner’s Manuals, Books, Booklets, Records and Receipts for this car. There will be NO surprises with this one. You will get all of the paper work to show you how well it has been loved and maintained! In addition to the above, I have both of the original master remote key fobs. What, that’s not enough originality for you? You want more? Ok, not a problem! I also have the original BMW Build for this car! There’s something you don’t see. Aside from an utterly amazing, guaranteed reliable Z4, you will also get another nicety. As I wasn’t planning on selling the car (ordering a new one was a completely spur of the moment decision), I just paid $600 for a full and complete detail job (with receipts and list of services rendered)!!! In addition, I just today had the car fully inspected at the BMW Dealership to guarantee that it was safe and reliable and ready to sell. BMW gave it a perfect rating with nothing needed. I have the paperwork showing the results. I think that just about sums it all up, and then some! Please read the details I have posted above and look at the many pictures below. This really is a stunning and very unique BMW and I will miss it greatly. It literally hurts my stomach when I think about letting it go. I still have three other BMWs though! I couldn’t stand to let it go except to get something amazing like a brand new one. Please give this exquisite car a beautiful, loving new home. Lord knows it deserves it!! Again, it is still fully covered by the BMW Certified Warranty!!! In addition to the car still being under the BMW Certified Warranty, it also is under the optional BMW Pre-Paid Extended Maintenance Plan.We paid several thousand dollars to pre-pay all maintenance on this car. So, as long as it is covered under this plan, all maintenance items are free for you (services, oil changes, inspections, fluid changes, even wiper blades!!!! Talk about a money saver!!!!!!
