I got this bug for a retirement project. Unfortunately my retirement finances and my health have prevented me from getting much done. It is time to let it go as I will never have the time or ability to complete the project. It is all there except for the fenders. Needs new floor pans and heater channels. A inexpensive project for someone with the time and money to build it. NOTE: A number of people have asked me if the engine is free and I said yes. I went out today to the storage area and thought it has been a while since I looked at it and I should check again. I could not get the engine to turn over so am stating that the engine is stuck. The body is completely unbolted from the chassis and all I had to do was install the braces in the door openings and was ready to lift the body off the chassis. Transport will require strapping/clamping/bolting the body solidly to the chassis. I have both left and right full floor replacement panels that I will sell to the successful bidder at half of what I paid for them if the buyer wants them.
