1995 short bed, single cab, K1500. The truck only has 122,300 miles. I used to work 2.2 miles from home, so it never saw that many miles, but I was recently relocated and need to buy a car. It has a brand new 5 speed NV3500 standard transmission with less than 1000 miles on it, with a manual transfer case. The Transmission was professionally installed and has a 1 year warranty. I also had the clutch, flywheel, throw out bearing, and slave cylinder replaced. Over the past year I have spent over $5000 in parts and labor. I was going to restore the whole truck to new condition. I know I'm not going to get my money back, but I'd like to get close. I would drive this truck to Alaska without a worry, but it is really hard to find low mile SCSB 5 speeds so I don’t want to rack up a bunch of miles on it. I have had it almost 4 years. It is adult driven and aside from hauling some mulch and the Christmas tree, it is hardly ever used as a truck. There is a dent in the door. It is hard to see in the pictures so I took several angles. It is on the drivers side door. I have never towed anything with the truck, the bumper has a ball, but it hasn't ever been used on this truck. I upgraded the radio with one that has AUX, CD, MP3 and USB. The AC went out about 2 years ago, so I had most of it replaced and it worked until about a month ago. The HVAC guy says there is a leak on the high side, but I didn't want to put any money in it. It has to be an easy fix, all of the expensive parts are new. The engine is a 350 TBI, and has always been very reliable. Even the cruise control works. The truck isn't perfect, it is over 20 years old, but someday it will be a collectible truck. I drive this truck everyday and she starts every time without question. There are 2 things that need attention if I were going to keep it. 1. I was going to have headers put on, but I bought the wrong ones. In the process of putting removing the exhaust one of the flange bolts broke at the collector. Not at the head. It needs to be drilled out and replaced. My mechanic wanted $100 to fix it, but I was still on the fence about the headers so I didn't have it repaired. I don’t mind the noise from the leak. I am attaching a picture. 2. Is the AC, I am getting old and wear a suit to work, so I would need the AC fixed. You could drive this truck every day as is, but I would fix those two things. There are a few leaks, but not enough to leave spots on the driveway so I never worry about them. I also should disclose that I am not a mechanic so I encourage you to come and see it if you can.
