Passenger Heat and A/C This Crown Victoria is a special long wheel base/commercial chassis model, specially made for taxi use. This is a genuine, retired “NYC” New York City taxi cab, complete with all hardware and actual working meter that you would see in the Big Apple. It has all of the original decals, badging, and lights that it had when in service. It even has the fully-functional divider and heat/cooling for the passenger area! All options on the car are working, as well as all of the lights. The air conditioning blows very cold. As you will see in the pictures, the A/C compressor was recently replaced, likely not too long before it was retired. The car has the usual signs of wear you’d expect to see on a New York City cab. Overall, the car starts and runs very well. The tires and brakes are good. It drives well and has good road feel to it for a bigger car. The body is in good shape and very solid. The undercarriage is in very good condition, as well. If you’re looking for a piece of New York “Americana” to add to your garage, this would be a great addition!
