This car is an original survivor! This is a very low production vehicle, as production of motor vehicles sold to the public was halted in December 1942. The halt in production took place due to the bombing of Pearl Harbor and the beginning of World War II. The drive train and the seats are original. It has 49,235 miles showing on the odometer. I can not guarantee that the is original miles on the car. However, the original condition does show that this is the original mileage. This would be a fun driver car to take to the cruise in's, the car is 73 years old. I am not sure when the car was painted. It appears to be a straight enamel paint job. It has a few runs and some fish eyes in the paint. I have owned the car for about 5 years. It runs and drives very well. The 217 engine purrs like a kitten, it has a new 6 volt battery. The exhaust was new when I purchased the car, it had the original water pump which I sent away to have rebuilt. I had the headliner and the carpet replaced this past winter by Moore's Upholstery shop in Cumberland Maryland; they did an excellent job. The seats are not ripped or torn and they are the original seats. The door panels could use a little help at the bottom. The right wing glass has a crack in it. The rest of the glass is OK. The car has correct period new Coker tires and new tubes. Some of the chrome is pitted but it presents well. The stainless trim is in excellent condition. Email me with any questions.
