For Sale:1981 Volkswagen Vanagon Riviera Camper I bought the van in Denver from an auto and parts company. It WAS very dirty and needed some work. I wish I had kept the pictures so I could show everyone the before and after shots. THE PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THIS VAN WILL GO TOWARD BOTTLING MY LINE OF FRUITY HOT SAUCES! Lots of improvements: Vehicle passed an overall performance assessment And we installed a new rebuilt Bosch starter. Body was stripped, sanded and a couple of small rust areas were welded, van was primer sprayed and is literally ready to be painted any color you choose.Pioneer Speakers installed, though I kept the retro tape player which will come with a tape input adapterBack seat and top deck were reupholstered with safari Sunbrella outdoor furniture and awning material.New windshield and wiper bladesUpgraded HeadlightsFront End work done--New Sway bar Bushings InstalledLimo tint around the sides LP Propane system is solid, no leaks. GAS BURNER WORKS GREAT! Furnace blows and tries to ignite but won't stay lit. Furnace needs new exhaust manifold.Sink pump needs work, faucet from garden hose supply inlet works great. Sink drain leaks a little. Van has a an auxiliary battery, kill switch, and charging station. This is great for usb charging and operation. Domestic fridge runs cold off of ac or dc power. (Knobs have to be purchased to run it on gas.) Lights work great, front and back, I recently drove this van across country and I would do it again in an instant! Annoying things about van:I would install new front seatsThe mirrors that were on it and the mirrors I replaced them with are sucky mirrors (all the same mirrors) I WILL CONSIDER DELIVERING THE VAN FOR A FEE.
