2007 Audi A4 Quattro Cabriolet Convertible 2-Door 3.2L PROJECT.. Salvage Certificate..Was a Sandy Flood Car..I bought it from a New Jersey dealer a couple of years ago to fix up and have a fun all-wheel drive convertible to drive year around..I did some work on it and lost interest..I'd paid tax and tags to California,but those would not pass on to even a Cali buyer..Though the CHP VIN Verification should be useable to a Cali buyer..Still needs Brake and Lamp Inspection,and Smog Certificate,to finish registration and get a Salvaged Title.. Runs and drives,AC blows cold,most of the lights work,but still the back up lights are non opp and the trunk 3rd brake light is intermittent..Some of the pics show it as I bought it,with the interior intact..Others show the interior as it is now partially apart as it still needs work..I've not tried to work on the convertible top,it does not function..I suspect it has to do with the power windows,as those are non-opp,and the windows need to drop a 1/4-1/2" right as the top goes down..Just one key,it does not work as a remote..Most of the warning lights are on at the dash..The air bags are disconnected..Radio/navigation/CD Changer are non-opp,and I've not looked into what's needed for those..Both power seats are non-opp,likely need to replace both seat mechanisms..Missing the spare wheel..3 of the 4 tires are original 2007 and have age cracks..My plan was to get a matched wheel,use the best of the 4 as a spare,put new tires on the ground.. I did install new high performance brakes,drilled rotors with ceramic pads,and the brakes work great..I've also fixed some of the lighting issues,but not all..The Code Reader showed that one of the four O2 sensors were needed,I replaced it..That Code Reader is included..I'm in this for $12K..Ouch!..Listing it at $8K or offer.. This project is more for an advanced mechanic rather than just a hobbyist..Best to come and see it,or pay someone to inspect it..I'll help get it to your transport with in 40 miles on 92382..That's Running Springs,CA.92382(think Big Bear/Arrowhead Lakes area) in the mountains about 100 miles east of Los Angeles..Transports do not like to come up the mountain road.. Notes Added on 7/2: I was unable to upload the pics of the interior intact as I bought it..I will try to get a few pics of the rest of the interior parts soon..The interior panels are in pretty good condition..As pic's show,there are a few minor dings and dents..Driver's side is very good..Small dent/crease on passenger side quarter panel near the door,and at top of door forward of latch..And dent in pass front fender..I would guess that a paint-less dent removal guy could handle all..Also needs a grill,it's plastic,I've found new aftermarket for less than $100 on ebay..
