lovely vintage 1966 Mercedes 230 sedan, local car since new. I purchased this car from the 3rd owner. Was sold new at GB motors in edmonton, later re-sold through David Morris Mercedes in 1988 and has only put on 7000 miles since 1988! Interior is all original and in great shape, only minor wear to carpets and some sun fading to the top of the rear seat. Engine is very strong, burns no oil and has great power. Standard transmission, four speed column shift. Car has had one paint job back in the 1980's but still looks great, was a high quality job at the time in the factory colours, only some minor bubbling, and signs of older rocker repair below the doors, no holes. otherwise paint and body are excellent, and look great, no door dings etc to speak of. A very straight, clean car, even the radio is the original blaupunkt and works great! This car was well kept its whole life! Tires are new, all season. Brakes were done less then 500 miles ago. Exhaust has had recent work, and mostly brand new. Carbs were rebuilt, new plugs, cap, rotor and wires 100 miles ago. Chrome is great! This car drives great on the highway, and is currently insured and registered with Active Alberta title. All lights work, horn etc. glass has a couple chips, but no cracks. New wiper blades. I have been using this car regularly in summers and take my kids to car shows in it. It is not a restored vehicle, just a very clean original, gets tons of looks, and will get you were you need to go :)
