2003 Silverado 3500 dually Duramax/Allison extended cab, just picked it up from an auction to haul a vehicle back to my shop. The auctioneer listed it as a one-owner new truck trade-in, and it definitely is clean. 258k miles, runs and drives great, transmission shifts perfectly, has no slippage or funny noises, engine and turbo pulls strong. I put 600 miles on it in the past week and will be using it to haul my car until this auction ends. No reserve auction, highest bidder gets the truck, simple as that. This would make someone a real nice work truck, perfect for hot shot haulers - gets 22mpg+ going 65 down the highway. I am posting two videos below showing a detailed walk around of the truck, along with it running and driving up to 60mph. No check engine lights, runs great. I called the dealer and it did have the injectors replaced prior, however if I were to keep it I would run an injector cleaning cycle through them and put on an aftermarket fuel filter because it intermittently smokes a little bit every now and then at idle. I can show you how to do it when you pickup the truck, or just do it for you. The stock fuel filters on ALL lb7 duramax's were junk from the factory. The only issues with this truck are usual cosmetic wear and tear after 258k miles - cab corners should be replaced, the drivers side rear door hinge sticks, and the plastic trim around the tailgate latch is broken just about like every other '03 out there. Frame and undercarriage is rust-free and solid. Has typical dents and dings, small crack on rear fiberglass dual but overall very clean truck... YES it does have the more desirable, floor-mounted manual 4wd shifter - no electronic push button crap to fail when you're stuck in snow. Truck does have a dent above the drivers side rear door but that's not what's wrong with the door.... the latch is hanging up inside the door panel.
