This is my 1966 Volkswagen Beetle, all original, preservation/restoration in progress with 92,148 miles. '66 was the last year Volkswagen manufactured the Beetle with 6V electronics and was the only model year for the 1300cc engine. The '66 Beetle has ton of unique features that were the first, last, or only year seen on the Beetle making the '66 a rare and highly sought after classic. Drives great! Super fun to drive! Lights, wipers, horn, heater channels, everything works as it should. Recent work includes new fuel lines (OE German cloth covered lines), new fuel pump, flushed fuel tank, new fuel filter, new distributor cap, new plug wires, new points, new voltage regulator, and new Optima Red Top 6V battery. Will include rare OE blue Bosch ignition coil which I haven't installed yet. Also includes original owners manual, and service manual stamped by the original dealer and signed by the original owner confirming the engine number, chassis number, and VIN are all original to the car!!! Original floor pans are in great shape. L360 Sea Blue exterior is original color - resprayed by previous owner. There are two small rough spots in the paint. One on the middle of the passenger side door looks like surface rust and the other is on the drivers side front fender where previous owner said it was hit by a golf ball - neither is very significant. Interior paint and upholstery is original. Beautiful example of a rarely unmodified classic.
