1971 Volvo 142-E, beautiful gold with black interior. Fuel-injected 130 H.P. 4 cylinder with 4-speed + electric overdrive. Great condition, second owner for over 35 years. 257K miles with only 25K miles on rebuilt engine, fuel system, suspension, brakes and drive train. IPD sway bars with poly bushings and Koni adjustable shocks. Strong runner and drives beautifully. Reupholstered seats in excellent condition with original dashboard (no cracks), original door panels, carpets, and headliner and Volvo AM radio. Original glass except for windshield. All rubber seals replaced. New tires, including a new spare. Polished intake manifold and polished IPD valve cover (original parts included). This is one of the last of the 142-Es. You may never find a nicer one. Not cosmetically perfect, but shows very well. Issues are 4 small rust spots, 2 small dents and paint under hood is a darker shade. With minor work and paint, this car could be put in show-car condition. Recent tune-up with all fluids and filters replaced. All gauges and switches work perfectly. Always garage stored. Original owner’s manual, factory shop manual, and Bosch Fuel-Injection manual are included along with many spares.
