THIS CAR IS THE ONE TO HAVE, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR PONTIAC WAGON... IT NEEDS PLENTY OF WORK, ITS NOT A FLY IN AND DRIVE HOME CAR, ALTHOUGH.. I WOULD TRY IT MYSELF IF I WAS FAR AWAY AND CONSIDERING THE CAR... PLEASE KNOW THAT IF YOU DECIDE TO DO THIS, I WILL HAVE NO PART IN IT... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDJBf0FazbA&feature=youtu.be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUUw_Slc0BE&feature=youtu.be NOT THE GREATEST VIDEO... I WAS IN A HURRY .. THIS IS NOT A 50K CAR, SO MY TIME INVESTED IS NOT THE NORM... THE CAR RUNS, AND MOVES... I MOVED IT OUT OF THE BARN WHERE I HAVE IT PARKED..... BUT THAT WAS IT.. MOVED IT OUT.. AND BACK IN... I DIDNT TAKE IT FOR A TEST DRIVE.. BRAKES SEEMED STIFF, CARB LIKELY NEEDS REBUILT AND NO, I DIDNT SEE IF THE AC WORKED.. ITS GOT THE RIGHT COLORS, MARIMBA RED ON RED INTERIOR, WITH A ROOF RACK AIR CONDITIONING AND POWER WINDOWS... IN A CATALINA... I VE NEVER SEEN POWER WINDOWS IN A CATALINA STATION WAGON... ROOF RACK SPINNER HUB CAPS, ADDITIONAL CUSHION IN FRONT SEAT (ON PHS) AND A TILT WHEEL... TINTED GLASS.... NICE OPTIONS TO HAVE... THE PHS SAYS COMPANY CAR OR FACTORY CAR ... THIS WAS NOT A RUN OF THE MILL LOT CAR... I TOOK PHOTOS WHILE WASHING IT UP.. IT LOOKS GOOD WHEN ITS WET, AND NOT AS GOOD WHEN ITS DRY.... DEALER INSTALLED HITCH, PONTIAC DIDNT PUT HITCHES ON AT THE FACTORY... IT IS A CORRECT DEALER INSTALLED HITCH.. SOMEWHAT OF A FIND... NICE. HAS A TURBO 400 TRANSMISSION... IF YOU ARE A PURIST, I HAVE A CATALINA PARTS CAR AND YOU ARE WELCOME TO PULL THE TRANSMISION OUT OF IT YOURSELF.. I WOULD JUST LEAVE THE TURBO 400 IN IT MYSELF... ITS PRETTY STRAIGHT, NOT ALL DENTED AND BASHED UP, NO ROT OR RUST... THE CAR SPENT ITS ENTIRE LIFE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AROUND SACRAMENTO UNTIL I BOUGHT IT. STILL IN FIRST TITLED OWNERS NAME .. SIGNED OFF.. COMES WITH ALL SERVICE RECORDS HAND WRITTNE IN A NOTE BOOK... FROM 1964 TO ABOUT 1990... AMAZING.. I HAVE SONS CONTACT INFORMATION AND WILL GIVE THAT TO THE WINNER OF THE AUCTION/SALE. I WILL DRIVE IT ON TO A TRAILER OR TRUCK.. I WILL.... IT CAN STAY WHERE IT IS, UNDER COVER FOR SEVERAL MONTHS IF YOU NEED THE TIME. THE CAR NEEDS WORK, BUT ITS HARD TO FIND SOLID WAGONS WITH GOOD COLOR AND OPTIONS.. REALLLLLLLLLY HARD..... I SELL THINGS, I DONT RELIST THEM.. IF YOU WANT THIS CAR, DONT WAIT TILL THE END, DONT THINK ITS NOT GOING TO SELL.. IT WILL.. SEE MY PAST AUCTIONS, AND YES.. I WILL END THE AUCTION WITH A BUY IT NOW PRICE. CALL ME IF YOU ARE NOT A TIME TAKER THAT WANTS MORE PICTURES OR TO KICK THE CAR AND ASK WHAT I WILL TAKE FOR IT.. ITS ON EBAY TO SELL, NOT TO SHOW... TWO OH 8 921-FIVE561... DAVID I LIKE TO BE PAID, DEPOSIT RIGHT AFTER SALE ENDS SO I KNOW YOU ARE NOT A SCAMMER. NO, YOU CANT PAY FOR IT WHEN YOU COME GET IT IN TWO WEEKS... OR WHENEVER.. AND THEN TALK ABOUT THE PRICE... PAY DEPOSIT AND BALANCE WITHIN A WEEK... IF YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A WAGON, THIS IS IT. THEY DONT COME AROUND MUCH... I KNOW, IT TOOK YEARS OF LOOKING AND THIS IS FIRST CATALINA WAGON I HAVE EVER SEEN WITH GOOD COLOR AND OPTIONS... IF I NEED TO, I WILL LOWER THE RESERVE AND BUY IT NOW IN THE COMING DAYS..... THANKS DAVID On Jun-15-15 at 08:35:52 PDT, seller added the following information: I added a picture of the phs showing the car as a "company car" at the top of the paper, also the title, which is signed off on the back, not dated. This is a 991 car.. see phs bottom left...not sent or ordered by a dealer..... You will have a very hard time finding a 991 car, especially a wagon, and....with options and good color...... VERY HARD. These come along in decades, not years... not salesmanship, just the facts. On Jun-15-15 at 22:26:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added a picture I took a couple hours ago of the two pieces of trim that were/are off the car. The car is complete, including the correct air cleaner. I also drove the car today, a bit more than the day I washed it up and took photos. I did not take the time to clean in.. I just gave the car a shot gun wash job.. which helped, but its not dealer cleaned and photographed.... It drove much better than I thought it would... or looks.. and the brakes worked fine...enough to make it skid and stop fast.. and then re accelerate... so, again, it will drive onto a trailer, and depending on how much adventure you like to have, its possible, it would drive home... I had the left blinker on and it was green in the dash, and working as it should at the tail light.. After looking at my own listing here, and seeing how pretty a marimba red wagon looks... when wet.. has really left me struggling to let this car go... I don't want to give it away, and DONT BE SURPRISED.. if I end the auction and keep it... I am a wagon fan, and because of the color and options and being a 991 car.. I am fighting with selling it... anyway.. HERE IS THE VIDEO of me driving it.. remember.. dirt road, in a hurry, and its not all slicked up and photoshopped and pretty music playing in the background... its a real video that was taken about 3 hours ago.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWYwO76Dsh4&feature=youtu.be
