Up for auction is a 1972 Honda Ct70 H 4 speed clutch model. Engine: Engine completely disassembled, shift forks replaced. Transmission gears look great. New Honda kick start shaft and new kick start lever. New Vesrah gaskets throughout, all new Honda seals throughout, clutch completely rebuilt with new friction and steel plates, new clutch springs. New Honda piston and rings. Cylinder Head rebuilt with new Japanese Valves and Honda Valve Springs. Carb rebuilt with new gasket and packings. New Honda cam sprockets and DID cam chain. Does not smoke or leak oil. Runs and shifts as it should. Frame/Body: Paint is original Candy Ruby Red, has some scratches and chips but is not sun faded. Not bad for a 43 year old Mini Trail. New Vesrah brake shoes front and rear. New wheel bearings front and rear. New clutch cable. All new rubber grommets on frame and handlebars. New Handlebars are exact copies of the original Honda CT70. New DID drive chain. Front and Rear drive sprockets look good and have a lot of life left on them. Rear fender is like new with no rust or dents, front fender is rust free but has some dents here and there. Rims were sandblasted and repainted. Tires are about 65% tread still there. Completely New Throttle assembly with new Honda Grips. Electrical: New maintenance free battery, points and condenser replaced. All lights work as they should, charging system working fine and is recharging battery. Lights in speedo are working and speedo works fine. New Honda High/Low dimmer switch.
