I have a 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser 4 speed manual 4X4 for sale. Purchased as a daily driver and restoration has been for that reason, not for rock crawling. Restoration thus started with engine and drivetrain (which is complete!!) No further mechanical work needs to be done, all I had left to do is cosmetic work which is not necessary but there are some rust spots in the upper lip of the roof rain guard which can be addressed when painted. None of the rust has eaten through any portion of the roof as you can see in the pics. There is zero rust on the floor boards or underneath. Interior is in great condition minus a rip on the drivers seat for which I have 2 brand new factory color front seat covers that are included in the sale. There is a crack on the dash which is shown in the pictures but I just received the new dash pad via CruiserParts.net. It is not installed as of now but is either included in sale or will be installed prior depending on time. Transmission is perfect, clutch plates and all internals are new. Transfer case and 4 wheel drive including front locking hubs are in perfect working condition. Engine has been completely rebuilt with lots of new parts and upgrades, it was taken down to the block and sent out to be milled and polished (see pics). The engine has been professionally desmogged (all emissions garbage removed but I kept all the original parts, also included in sale). All engine and transmission work was done by a local mechanic and most parts are still under factory warranty. All receipts from parts and labor are included along with service records. There are $7000.00 worth of receipts in engine and mechanical rebuild alone. Engine has been broken in and is now running on standard oil. Chassis has 240k miles. Has ice cold A\C with brand new compressor and hoses.Power steering. New Pioneer radio with and speakers. Has bull bar on the front and roof rack with KC lights on the top that are wired under the dash and are very very bright.Most parts in engine compartment are new and upgraded such as HEI distributor and new Weber carb. Optima yellow top battery. Lots of other good stuff. This is a very nice FJ that can be even more restored as a collectible but also makes a unique daily driver that is very capable and long lasting without all the computerized crap that is stuffed into new cars.
