First off, to be clear, I am not a car person or mechanic. I know very little about cars, but will tell you all I know about this one. We purchased this car 3 years ago from the original owners. At that time it had about 69,000 miles on it. It now has about 103,000 miles. THE GOOD ABOUT THIS CAR: Straight body...never in an accident. Interior is nice. No tears in seats or carpets. Not smoked in. Dash is uncracked...which is remarkable considering it is an Arizona car. Speaking of Arizona car... no rust. Engine and transmission are strong. Feels like a Buick ought to on the road. Power windows and locks, tilt wheel, cruise control. THE BAD: Paint has quite a bit of oxidation as shown in pictures. Peeling clear coat. Front seatbelt locks work, but are missing covers. (see photo) Tires are fine, but not new. Power windows work, but can come off track and need some guidance going up. Driver's side is worst, but will go up with a little guidance. Headliner has come loose from ceiling and hangs down a bit. Seats are faded as shown in photos... especially front seats. Front windshield is cracked across vertically. Steering wheel column is loose. I don't know how to describe it...it can be moved around. This doesn't affect the steering, but should be looked at...it may have just lost a bolt or something, but I don't know. I have tried to describe all I know, but may not have told you all you want to know. Please feel free to ask any questions prior to bidding, I will do my best to answer. All in all this has been a good little car. It has never left us stranded or needed much work outside of regular maintenance (which we did). We did replace the fuel pump about a year ago. I would not be afraid to drive this car a long distance (as long as the steering column issue was not a problem.) It is a 27 year old car, therefore I obviously cannot guarantee anything about it. Things can go wrong unexpectedly. It may go another 100,000 miles...or break down after 100. It is being sold AS-IS and the responsibility of pick up is up to the buyer.
