You are bidding on an absolutely beautiful 1976 Mercedes 300D. This car gets looks wherever it goes and people are always asking about it. The paint appears to be original and is in good condition. This car is a diesel and runs fantastic. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly and the car has surprising pick up and go! The odometer reads just over 117,000 miles but has recently stopped logging miles and we are not sure why. There are receipts from last summer with just under those miles so it is pretty close. The speedometer is not affected. The interior is in excellent shape and original as you can see by the pictures. There is a small crack in the dashboard and the speaker cover on the front is slightly warped which is to be expected in a car of this vintage. The tires are almost brand new and it has just had a fresh oil change. We just had the fuel tank professionally cleaned and renewed as well as had the fuel filters replaced. The power windows work great. Overall this car looks and drive beautifully. You could literally have this car delivered to your home and start driving it the same day. This car is for sale locally as well.
