2001 BMW 740IL, THE ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE 86k Miles ... Runs, Drives, and Looks Like New! I recently bought this car off eBay. Car was delivered as promised and it is truly awesome. However, I just accepted a new job that provides a company car so I am selling. Let me start by saying ... they don't make cars like this anymore. You can feel the quality on everything you you touch. The driving is truly AWESOME!!! This 740IL is the flagship of BMW. 2001 was the last year of this body style and I must say ... with the M CHROME WHEELS ... It is Bad Ass! A Real Head Turner! Options: It is probably easier to tell you what this car doesn't have ... because it has everything!!! Navigation, Automatic (Shifts Perfectly), Power Moon Roof, Power rear window sun shade, Xenon HID headlights, Rear window shades, On Board Computer, Programmable seats, Programmable steering wheel, Dual Climate, Airbags front and side, Power windows, Power doors, Memory seats, Lumbar seats, Garage door openers, Electric closing trunk latch, alarm, and my favorite feature ... illuminating door handles!!! You could spend hours in this car just playing with ALL the buttons and power features! The color combo is the best in my opinion. Anthrazit Metallic Exterior (Looks like dark gray granite) and Light gray interior. The paint looks like NEW!!! Even look at the front headlights. No fogging! The engine is so clean ... you could eat off it! NON-SMOKER car. As for the driving condition. This car is a combination of POWER and LUXURY!!! I took this 740IL on a 6 hour ride and it was just unbelievable. The power to merge on the highway to pass cars at a moments notice made me feel like king of the road. The seats are so comfortable. Soft leather with power positioning to adjust in almost every direction. You can tell German engineers spent countless hours designing these seats. They fit like a glove. All the buttons and gadgets are within reach, including the controls on the steering wheel. The AC is ICE COLD! The ride was so comfortable ... it was like riding on a cloud. I opened the power moon roof and enjoyed the sun as I ripped down the highway with the stereo playing. I am so sad to be selling this car ... especially since my new company car is a Camry. :( Note: Rear passenger window tint will need to be replaced and might need some brakes in the near future. Driver seat has some discoloration, but no rips, tears, or cracks. It is super comfortable. Just want to disclose everything I can. Bid with Confidence!!!
