Vehicle Detail
Best performance Speedster- I own a '87 911 and hhis is faster and corners better. Raby engines are the best for replicas, type 4 enginess as used in the Porsche 912 and VW buses (google Raby Aircooled Tech. for engine, and JPS Motorsport for car builder). Professionally built, Has front oil cooler, 2" exhaust, large displacement engine 2172 cc, Weber 44 carbs, front oil cooler, custom alloy wheels with extreme wide tires, welded roll bar, added gauges to the Porsche 912 guages. hard top comes off, could easily be converted to a contverible soft top. Show car displayed in the 2002 Carlise PA Custom Car Show by memberss of the NJ Replicar Club who helped detail the car after purchase. Show winner in local; car shows, very very reliable, simply the best performing Outlaw Speedster ever built. (Outlaws was a name given to Speedsters in the 50's that were customized for amature racing with things like wider flared wheels, larger carbs and displacement, bumpers removed, but were still used during the week for regular driving (hence outlaw). Never raced, driven lightly and show car, I am the first owner, a babied car in excellent condition with the best engine you could have and best braking and road holding. smell of leather seats (upgraded from Speedster minimal buckets to 356 C roadster seats for more comfort. This is not meant to be a factory original reproduction but a cool performance street/weekend racer, James Dean would love it. Have two of them now and too many cars to fit gargage, I honestly spent over $40,000 on building this car 14 years ago and have enjoyed it every summer since. This is a real value for next owner, I have 100% ebay rating over 600 tranactions so bid with confidence, this is my personal fun car and I have a modest collection but now retired and letting them go at bargain prices.
