I'll try eBay one more time then it's off to storage for this beautiful street rod. This car was restored in the mid 2000's and is a blast to drive. It is equipped with a Chevrolet 350 crate motor with 6950 miles since installation. Sporting a Chevrolet Turbo Hydro-matic 350 transmission, power brakes, power seat, power windows, dual exhaust, front disc brakes, electric trunk opener, and plenty of power it cruises down the road at 70 (plus) miles per hour and handles like a dream. It wins trophy's each time we enter it in a car show. It does NOT have a power convertible top. All of the electric/hydraulic system has been removed but one person can take down or put up the top in under 1 minute. No more hassles with the expensive power top. The interior is very nicely done with simulated tan leather and shows very nicely. The air conditioner system is all there but I have never used it and I am sure it will need Freon. The car does not have power steering but I have a brand new Mustang II power rack and some, if not all, of the parts needed to switch it out to power steering. If I keep the car I will put in a new steering column and install a floor shifter. Just my personal taste...... If someone gave you a 1941 Ford Convertible you would be hard pressed to build this car for under what I am asking for it. Check out '41 Ford Convertibles on the internet and you get an idea of what they are going for. I had it appraised when I bought it for insurance purposes and the appraisal is over $40,000. We are moving to a different state (Arizona, no tornadoes...) and simply will not have the room to keep the car at the new house so it's time to sell it to the next owner who can enjoy it as much as we have. If I don't get a buyer this second time around on eBay I will store the car. It's only going to increase in value! I have started the bidding out at way under what this car is valued at (it's insured for over $40,000) I need it sold so someone is going to get a great car for a great deal.
