1996 chevrolet silverado SPECTACULAR 350 CHEVY Sport Truck, 2 Wheel Drive, 3.73 Gear Ratio. This vehicle was purchased from a family member last year. He really didnt want to sell it. I am a sucker for short bed, 2 wheel drive chevy sport trucks. This was a nice project for me and you just dont see trucks like this every day. I have invested alot of time and money to make this truck exactly how I wanted it. Mechanical Improvements - Within the last 10,000 miles I have replaced the ignition system; spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil have all been changed to MSD ignition components with the exception of the wires, they are not MSD but they are new. fuel filter has been changed,new shocks,new radiator and hoses,new K&N air filter,fairly new exhaust and muffler,all new brakes front and rear,pads,drums,rotors,new brake fluid with flush and bleed. All new bleeders for brake system. New front grill, new head lights and fog lights, new marker lights. New body moulding kit. New windshield wipers and arms. Since my ownership of vehicle which is about 25,000 miles, I have also converted all fluids to top of the line AMS oil, motor oil, transmission fluid with recent servicing and also recent rear end differential fluid service with amzoil gear oil and rear wheel seals have been replaced. Battery is also fairly new. I use this vehicle everyday and I am stopped at least twice a day with compliments from admirers. Another upgrade I made was a new audio system, I probably shouldnt have gone as crazy as I did. But inside sounds like a concert. One 10 inch competition JL audio sub woofer located behind passenger seat. One HD 900/5 JL audio amplifier. Italian AUDISON midrange and tweeters located in doors. Doors have been sound proofed with dyna mat. All necessary cross overs and fuse blocks and a pioneer cd head unit with bluetooth handsfree capabilities. I have always been a music lover and when you hear it coming out of this system youll be shocked and rocked. Truck is washed and waxed weekly. It is very well maintained. Interior is extremely nice. I also replaced the tail gate chevrolet sign with new OEM replacements. It does have a very small flaw in the middle, but very hard to notice. Front tires are in decent shape, both rears are almost in need of replacement. There are some small dents, dings and scratches located throughout various areas of the vehicle. Please do no expect a showroom brand new truck. Keep in mind it is a 1996. The bed of the truck is in good shape with normal wear and tear as well. Also, included in this auction is a bed cover which is black. This is a southern truck originally so there is very little rust or deterioration of the under carriage. It has only been in NY for a couple of years, and I did not run it alot over the winter. Front bumper has a small dent/crease. Rear tailgate has a dent that is really not visible with the aluminum cover over it. Truck also has a tow package. New climate control panel has been installed. Air conditioning system has recently been charged and filled. I am only selling this vehicle because it is time to start my next project. There is a very small flaw which is very common with vortec motors, the intake gasket almost always leaks with high mileage. The intake gasket just started having a small, hard to notice leak but does not cause any problems at this time. But should be replaced eventually. Just wanted to mention this.
