Vehicle Detail
For your consideration is a numbers-matching 1970 marlboro maroon / black standard interior professionally rebuilt .060 over 454 4-speed convertible resto-mod but with most all original parts included in sale (alternator, starter and rear spring among the missing). Full VBP front and rear suspension including offset trailing arms. 275/40/17 rear tires. Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Frame-off restored in 1998 then tinkered with to make it premier; I've owned it for over four years but have a daughter that'll be in college in two years. She's a B student so I'd better prepare for a life without scholarships.Factory AM/FM radio and PS. PB, OEM Tilt-telescopic steering column and shoulder belts added. Vintage AC added with OEM AC center console bezel. Restored original hard top. Rack and pinion (Steeriods) steering upgrade. Custom exhaust with headers that will impress. Audio system that people with Third Generation Corvettes just don't do. Mostly JL-Audio with 13.5" shallow-mount subwoofer and custom enclosure. Kenwood eXcelon media player head unit with bluetooth and phone connectivity. Any modifications to interior components were done with spare and aftermarket components; original interior components were stored and are not modified.http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/...m-upgrade.html I have hundreds of pictures including pictures of the restoration, all documentation and original (removed) parts, kick panels, frame, engine compartment etc. This car only needs detailed, everything works. Just drive or show.It made the cover of Vette magazine in 2003:http://www.superchevy.com/features/0...orvette-coupe/ Documentation includes original manual and POP (identified as 454 4-speed 3:73 rear axle ratio with power steering), copies of previous owner titles (2), appraisals (2), registrations, bill-of-sale, judging sheets, wheel trim ring instruction sheet, GM engine starting procedure, GM ignition system document, Dyno sheet (410 rwhp), Assembly and Instruction Manual (AIM).Original M-21 transmission restored and in storage crate. I also have the original hood (unrestored), heads, intake and exhaust manifolds, Rochester carb, front steering and suspension components, radiator and Harrison expansion tank, distributor (with no identifying band), air cleaner assembly, steering wheel, AM-FM radio and related components. These parts are all original to the car. Rally wheels are restored non-original AZ rims dated 10/69. Car was manufactured 1/70. Original trim rings and center caps included. Original spare tire carrier restored and included but not installed. I bought a reproduction rim and cooper tire as a spare. Aftermarket alarm system with key fob and power locks. All belts, hoses and tires are new. Fluids flushed and maintained. The interior presents itself without a scratch. The GM OEM rubber floor mats are included but not currently installed. Fiber optics and vacuum-controlled devices (wiper tray and headlights) operate flawlessly. Clock has been rebuilt with quartz (original stored in box). Emergency brake works.
