Very Rare 1958 Buick Special Convertible All Matching Numbers MUSEUM CAR! from the Cayman Motor Museum (google them) For sale is a very nice amazing true classic; hard to find especially in this condition. This car is ONE of only 5,502 made in 1958!Back then it was nicknamed "THE CHROME GODDESS" It had more chrome and stainless trim options than any other car produced. The car brakes like a modern car. I would not be afraid to take it anywhere. The Car is powered by its 364cid V8 engine with an automatic transmission. Comes with various factory power options such as Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Top, radio, power windshield wipers, built in dash clock, blower, etc…Interior is burgundy/white in excellent condition. All chrome and brightwork are in tip top shape. This is an all matching numbers car. On the engine block, on the frame, and vin tag. Also has cowl tag. See the more pics section to see them. The top goes up and down with no signs of weakness. The top is in perfect condition and includes a white cover top. All gauges work properly. The transmission is a 3 speed automatic it shifts smoothly as it should .It is hard to find some negatives about this car. Very solid car no sign of any rust. Given the large number of chrome it is a real accomplishment. All windows go up and down. Tires are good and still have plenty of thread left. Car is kept in climate controlled garage. This is a great opportunity for a true collector to own this museum beauty! This car is in immaculate condition and very comfortable & pleasant to be in. The Body is straight as an arrow.
