You are viewing a 1997 Ford F-350 XL 4-wheel drive, Regular Cab truck with the coveted 7.3 Liter (445 cubic-inch) Power Stroke Turbo Diesel. This truck has been in service with our Fire Department until just a few weeks ago, when it was replaced with a new unit. This truck has been maintained very well and runs and drives excellent, with no known mechanical issues whatsoever. This truck has been maintained and stored inside when not in use. There is normal, cosmetic wear and tear, to be expected. This truck served as our brush truck and has been an excellent vehicle. The vehicle is not equipped with any power options, nor is it equipped with air-conditioning. It runs and drives excellent. No "check engine lights" or otherwise are on.The 7.3 liter Power Stroke Diesel pulls strong and hard. The 5-speed manual transmission shifts excellent through all gears and the clutch operates as it should. It is equipped with 4.10 gearing and is 4-wheel drive with manual, locking hubs. The 4-wheel drive operates as it should in high and low range, and no known problems exist. It has been maintained very well and always starts right up, with no smoke or otherwise abnormal signs or issues. The tires are in excellent shape and are Mastercraft Courser MT's, LT315/75R16 in size, on nice Eagle Alloy Wheels. Unit is equipped with a DrawTite "Activator II" trailer brake controller and a Westin "Bed X-Tender", along with a "headache rack". Cosmetically, the seat has wear from getting in and out with fire gear on, there are holes in the dash from radios and equipment. There are small dings, dents, and scrapes present. There is some rust present on the body, but nothing appears to be rusted through (see pictures). Overall, it is in great shape for the age, it runs and drives excellent, and is very dependable. Winning bidder agrees to forward a 25% partial payment at end of auction via direct bank wire transfer or by overnighted cashier's check, money order or certified funds, payable to "Laurelville Fire Department". Balance will be due within ten days of end of auction or at time of pick up or delivery, whichever comes first. Personal checks will be accepted, but they must clear prior to pick up of vehicle. We will help in any way possible to assist in pick up or meeting a transporter. We can store the vehicle for up to 30 days, until pick up can be arranged, as long as it's paid for in full. If a physical inspection is required by potential bidders, it must be completed PRIOR to bidding. Non-paying bidders will be held legally responsible for any fees and/or losses incurred, and will be turned over for legal action/collection. By bidding, you agree to these terms. The mileage on the truck at that time was 88,351 not 188,351. The mileage on the truck is original and correct at 139,691. We are trying to get this mistake corrected so the mileage is correct on the title, this was a mistake made at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. The mileage on the truck is true and correct, and it has never been broken, altered, or otherwise. We will have the paperwork corrected if possible so it matches the true mileage.
