1991 Volvo 240 in absolute impeccable condition. I purchased this car from a friend of mine with extensive volvo experience and knowledge, and he just went through the vehicle in the most comprehensive way possible. The total service happened less than 60 days ago and included: New plugs, fuel filter, distributor cap, rotor, ngk plugs, pac breather box, intake manifold gasket, flame trap nipple. Throttle body completely serviced, tps adjusted, new flush and coolant, temp sensor and crankshaft position sensor. ALL new fluids; power steering, engine, transmission, and power steering. All flushed and replaced with new. Steering and Suspension: New lower control arms bushings (rear) New front lower ball joints. Front and rear pads like new. Inner and outer tie rods like brand new. Rear upper torque rods and lower trailing arm bushings in excellent condition. Replaced rear coil springs and installed new KYB shocks. Nearly new premium Michelin tires all the way around that are 90%. Timing belt, seals, water pump all checked out. Exhaust like new; quiet and very solid. All electrical is perfect. New fuse panel. All lights, glove box, trunk etc work as intended. Wipers and washer all in great order. AC and HEAT blow clean and quiet, AC is ice cold! Power windows all work smoothly up and down! This car drives as well as ANY I have ever had on the highway OR around town. The interior is absolutely clean and as new, seats firm and supportive and optional moldedOEM weather mats included. AM-FM stereo, Pioneer, works well. It has a small dent on the top of the hood. I tried to point it out but it is difficult to see. It looks like the previous owner had something fall on it. It's difficult to notice and in noway detracts from the exceptional original condition of this original-paint car. Buffs out to a wonderful deep gloss! This is a totally RUST FREE example. Floors, rockers, trunk all like new. Undercarriage spotless with the original undercoating still holding solid. There are no gremlins: No rips on the seats, no bad knobs, no torn upholstery, no bad windlass or window seals. Well under spare dry, engine bay like brand new without detailing, and the entire car drives and feels like a new one. Tracks right down the highway at 75 MPH going 2500 rpm with OVERDRIVE which works perfectly. Fantastic Volvo option that makes it quiet and efficient. This is one of the safest, most reliable cars ever built and is good for another 200,000 miles! PERFECT for someone who travels a lot for work or for a concernedparent that wants a college age child safe in all his/her travels. Sorry to be long winded, but this is a GREAT car. I purchased it with the intent of keeping it and giving it to a family member but that did not work out. I have limited space, and as much as I hate to let it go, I have priced it very fairly given the pristine condition of the car. I am happy to answer ANY questions I can about this car but will not deal outside of by or show the car while the auction is going. Please do not ask my reserve, it's very reasonable.
