Up for your consideration is my 1986 Honda Shadow VT1100 motorcycle. This is a low mileage vintage motorcycle that I have owned since 2001. It only has 27,400 miles on it and it has been garaged and well taken care of over the years. The mileage is actual because it only had 4,500 on it when I purchased in it 2001. It has a clean title and you will not find a finer VT1100. I have spent about $900 on it recently to put it in top condition. The twin carbs were professional cleaned last Fall, it has a brand new battery in it and I just had the driver’s seat re-upholstered. This bike was also safety inspected last Fall and it passed with flying colors. Tires are not new but they are in very good condition. So, this bike is ready to ride. The bike has a 5-speed direct drive (not chain drive). I shifts smoothly and handles like a dream. This is a powerful motorcycle – not something for ‘beginners’. The clutch and brake systems work flawlessly. The great thing about this motorcycle is that it will hold its value well because it is a fairly rare motorcycle that you just can’t find easily. It does have a few scratches and dings on it, but nothing major. The most apparent ‘ding’ is a dent on the right side of the gas tank. However, a paintless dent repair shop could probably fix this flaw for minimal $$. Local pick-up in St. Louis, MO. No shipping available on this item. Thanks for considering.
