Plenty of POWER in the 462 inch original motor. A LOT! Of $ was just invested in this super cool ride to get it freshened up. Following is a detailed description of the car and items done to it in the Past Year. Interior: We just had ALL windows on the car completely professionally serviced by a LINCOLN SPECIALIST and they work great from ALL switches. (SEE YOU TUBE VIDEO link below)1. All window regulators were cleaned/ lubricated.2. Windows were All adjusted.3. Switches were ALL cleaned and or replaced.4. Rear windows drop automatically when rear door is opened! Just like from the Factory. Factory Color CODE 84 Emberglo ORIGINAL Seats... We just had a Professional Interior Shop Custom make All New LEATHER for the Original Seats. This is leather and not cheap vinyl. Very expensive and took 5 months but worth it. New padding etc. Basically Brand new seats top to bottom. Rear seat bottom is factory original. -Complete Rebuild on Power Seat Motor. Works Great!-Arm rests were also done by shop in All new Original material.-Door panels are in great shape-Dashboard is in PERFECT SHAPE (see Photo) NO CRACKS like MOST. -Steering Wheel is Perfect. NO CRACKS or SEPARATION like most. Look closely at All other 66/67 Lincolns for sale. Every steering wheel has separated spots and Dash boards are usually cracked by speaker grill. This California Car was not out baking in sun its whole life. Carpet is Original & still very Plush. Looks great ! Trunk LOOKS Great inside. Again, most Lincoln convertible sellers hide the inside of the trunk as they are usually in bad shape with rust on the top down boot or hydraulic fluid soaked dirty carpets and paint over spray on All wire harnesses etc. This one is great. Like NEW. Also, still has its original spare tire and cover. Basically interior on car is very near to factory new condition and needs nothing. I only say “near” because it is a 40+ year old car. Exterior: The paint on the car is in great shape. The car was re-painted in its original VERY RARE (RUSSET Metallic/Emberglo)Z Code . Plenty of clear coat on the car to shine. Buyer should expect a minor flaw or small ding in the paint here or there but nothing to be concerned about. Looks Amazing. Very Rare color combo for this convertible. Car has no rust on it and underneath is very dry and solid. (See Photos)No issues at all. Under Carriage Looks factory new. Still has its Original Factory Undercoat spray to keep the car Quite and Also Areas where you can still see the "Red River" . The "Red River" was a part of the Assembly line process where the car was dipped into a river of orange red primer sealer to keep car from rusting. Very Clean. No Rust At ALL! (SEE PHOTOS) Note : For the new Owner, there is a small amount of the original paint color used on the car that will come with it in case anything needs touched up in the future on the car. Chrome on Front and Rear Bumpers is in good shape. Rated at driver+ quality. Nice shine.All Stainless trim on car is in very nice shape Engine: Original V8 462 CU This car starts up easily and runs very strong. Motor sounds great and has plenty of power. Transmission shifts smoothly into all gears and floats down the road. Power steering works great. Can steer car with one finger. A pleasure to drive! Recent Maintanance Completed...Fresh Oil change yesterdayNew Mufflers installed yesterdayRear Brakes New PointsFront end rebuild and Greased Engine bay is VERY clean and well kept/ detailed. Drives like a dream with no known issues other than constant THUMBS up from on lookers but should REALLY be looked at by your mechanic before taking on any long trips. EVERYTHING was gone thru including EVERY Relay, ALL pumps, EVERY LIMIT SWITCH etc. at a cost of over $5000 which did include the power window servicing as well. Any one that knows these cars, knows that it is VITAL to buy one already serviced for its top and windows!! They are not cheap to have fully serviced but once this is complete they will work and last for another 40 years. This service was just completed last week. After that we took it to have a brand new original style pin point vinyl top installed which was an additional $2200 from upholstery shop. Total bill for Window service, top replacement and Service was $10k! Everything operates just as it did from the factory. Top can be raised and lowered with ease FROM INSIDE THE CAR OR OUTSIDE BY GAS TANK SWITCH, and it is quite the site to see!!! see video at You Tube NOTE: IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE LINCOLNS OF THIS ERA, THEY HAD A KEYED SWITCH BY GAS TANK TO OPEN TRUNK.
