Vehicle Detail
FORD BRONCO Eddie Bauer Model 4X4 with SuperLift conversion removable convertible hard time Fuel Injected 5.8 LITER v-8 4-Speed Automatic Transmission 94,810 MILES I bought this Full size 4x4 Bronco at auction. The TN title has the truck listed as a 1990 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer Custom Edition. I have no previous history and the truck is sold as is. I will do my best to accurately describe what I know and what I have found by researching. I am a die-hard Chevy guy and this is my first Ford...so my review of the truck is based on several decades of automotive experience, but NONE of that has ever been with a Ford. Motor: Fuel injected 351 Windsor (5.8L). Automatic Transmission: Wikipedia says it is a 4speed automatic with electronic overdrive [ "1988-89 351W trucks received a C6 transmission. In 1989 (1990 model year), the electronically controlled E4OD automatic overdrive came standard on the 351W" ], but I don't know enough about Ford transmissions to confirm that is what it has. Suspension Lift ($1150 new): Ford SuperLift - Superunner Suspension Lift Kit (I believe it is the 6" lift, but I have no way to verify) [http://www.superlift.com/lift-kits/6-inch-1980-1996-ford-superunner-suspension-lift-kit.asp] and the SuperLift - Superunner Steering System Conversion [http://www.superlift.com/pc_product_detail.asp?key=640A4E70F6BA44BD8E8FC61551C33E8A] Tires: Mudstar Radials (look brand new..see pics) 33x12.50x15 on Mickey Thompson aluminum wheels (not sure how wide). Options: Power steering, power brakes, independent front axle with disk brakes, A/C (blows cool, but not cold), manual side windows, automatic rear window (works), rear seat, Pioneer XM ready stereo ( I have not tried it to see if it works or not), heavy duty custom rear bumper with tow hitch, custom brush guard (no winch), Spot light (works great),. Condition: Starts first try every time (I put a new starter on it). I went to change the oil, but there is a sticker on the window that says it was changed and is still current. I have not had a lot of time behind the wheel, but my son has been driving it back and forth to work for the last couple of weeks. I drove it 70 miles round trip (interstate, city and off-road) this past weekend (and the temp outside was HOT - 89 degrees) and I had no issues. Rides and drives on the highway as you would expect a lifted 4x4 to drive. Leaks a little oil, The fuel gauge works, the oil and temp gauges do not. Wipers work. doors are not original. It has a little rust over the rear fender wells and tailgate, but the floor boards and undercarriage is in GREAT shape. It has one rust spot (on the floor where the door guard was screwed down) about the size of a dime (see pics), original fiberglass (removable) roof in EXCELLENT condition, glass is all good and vent/wing windows are in good shape and lock. I took it on a local off-road trail and the hubs locked in, the 4high and the 4 low both worked great. Speedometer is a little off, but I am not sure how much (speedo said I was going 55mph, but I was keeping up with the interstate 75 traffic). Hope this helps. I have included many pictures in this ad. The truck is at my son's house and one of us can send/text more pictures if you have specific things you want to see, just call me Chris 865.406.9232 Shipping: If you are planning on flying in and driving it home, just realize I DO NOT know or guarantee the condition of this vehicle. Even though I drove it home from the auction and have driven it locally, you might consider a trailer. ALSO as a reminder, IT IS A LIFTED TRUCK and will not fit in my garage, so if you are going to ship it, keep this in mind.
