2000 Ford F150 XLT 7700 GVWR 4WD extended cab 4 door pickup with matching camper shell. This truck has a 5.4 liter, (330 cubic inch), Triton V8 and automatic transmission. It is four wheel drive with a floor engagement lever. Called the "Heavy Half", 7700 GVWR; the truck has heavier suspension than standard half tons, larger differential, and 7 lug wheels. Options include air conditioning (works great!), power windows and door locks (door locks don't always work with remote), AM/FM/CD/MP3 player, fog lights, tow package, matching camper shell, 40/60 front seat w/ folding armrest/ storage box/ cup holder, and 40/60 folding rear seat. OEM manual/ etc. included. This was a high end truck for its' day! Besides the tow package; 2" receiver, 4 & 7 pin plugs, and fog lights; the truck also has the run hot option that reduces engine cylinder firing in the event of a cooling leak. It runs on all eight cylinders until overheating occurs, then six, then four, and if you still aren't where you are safe; it will even run on two cylinders to prevent engine damage. Interior is in great condition. Truck is owned and driven by non smoker, non drinker, non addict! The only things I can think of interior wise, is the plastic power port door is missing and the cup holder drawer doesn't operate correctly. On the outside; the clear coat is peeling badly, headlight lens need polishing again, and the right front mud flap was claimed by a deluge in southeastern Colorado, and there are minor scratches here and there. (I hunt and fish). The camper shell is made by "JASON". For some reason, I noticed in the photos, the wires to the camper light are disconnected, but can be plugged back in easily. Drive: 5.4 liter Triton V8 with 101515 original miles. 4sp automatic transmission. 4WD with 2H, N, 4H and 4L. Now for the rest of the story; I bought this truck in 2002 with 32000 miles on it from O'Meara Ford in Northglenn, Colorado. It was used primarily for hunting, fishing, hauling motorcycles around, and the occasional moving of family/ friends. While not as impressive in the snow as the Toyota before it, this truck will grunt up hills that the Toy would have to take a run at and still chance not making! It's been a good truck for me! I've been disabled for almost 2 years now; can't walk or drive. (I took the photos seated in a wheelchair). The truck has mostly been sitting where it's at for almost all that time with only very little use by family members. It has a new battery and the left front hub & bearing has been recently replaced. The brakes were replaced before it was parked. The air filter is a reusable K&N. I'd keep this truck if I wasn't disabled. If I did I'd probably repair the door automatic locks, TIRES definitely, do an alignment, (I was told ball joints were getting worn), and paint. The ABS dash light is on, (fluid may just need flushing/ renewing as ABS unit was replaced before parking), but the brakes work fine. That's pretty much all I can think of.
