Vehicle Detail
1975 Corvette Stingray Convertible Survivor (350/AT) L82 This survivor original C3 has the born with original all numbers matching engine/drive train (has never been out of the car). The entire interior (leather) is all original and mint. The original rubber and weather stripping and dash are perfect. It is an unmolested original Scottsdale Arizona car that has been garage kept and babied its entire life. Nothing on the car has ever been dissembled and then reassembled with bogus aftermarket stuff (it is a true survivor). It’s entirely original! It has been very nicely repainted once to its original Bright Blue color 22. The car is highly documented with the build sheet/ service records /and owner’s manual dating back to 1975.The best way for me to explain the car is that if you were restoring a 1975 C3 to its original condition or an NCRS judge and wanted to know what original really was, then you would want to look at this car to be educated. No rattle can of paint has ever seen this car and everything works! Yes everything! It starts easy, runs and sounds amazing (79,049 miles), shifts nicely, AC blows cold and works perfectly, never wrecked, no vacuum issues (headlights go up and down instantaneously and fast), buzzer sounds when you open the door, interior lights come on when you open the door, gauges are crisp clean and not faded, power windows are fast, gaps around the doors/hood are awesome, even the original insulation on the back of the hood is still there and has original stickers. The car has the following:· 14Z67 Base Convertible (4,629 made)· 22 Bright blue paint· 262 Dark blue leather seats· A31 Power Windows (fast working)· C07 Auxiliary Hard Top (2,407 made)· C60 Air Conditioning (blows cold)· FE7 Suspension· J50 Power Brakes· L82 Engine 205/340 Torque 350· M40 Automatic Transmission· N37 Tilt Telescopic Steering Colum· N41 Power Steering· QRZ White Letter Tires· UA1 HD Battery· U05 Dual Horns· U58 AM/FM Stereo Radio· 4F5 Cal Emissions· UF1 Map Light This isn’t a big block tire shredding 1969 C3 427 tri-power (with carburetor issues and overheating problems). It’s a comfortable, very dependable convertible that is cool, and gets you where you want o go in style. I feel comfortable in saying the car could be driven anywhere without a problem. It doesn’t drip any fluids which is a testament to how well it has been maintained. I have never seen this clean of an original 1975 C3. It has got to be worth at least 20k (just my opinion), so that is where the bidding will start, with no reserve. I am not a dealer, but a car collector, with way to many cars. I sold 5 cars at the last Barrett Jackson auction 2015 which brought the highest numbers for what they were. I don’t have junk, and whoever gets this car isn’t going to be disappointed. So here is an opportunity to own a super nice, clean, original survivor (thats dependable), for not a ton of money, plus it has a KILLER paint job!If you have any questions feel free to text or call:Jim - (602) 469-6662On May-20-15 at 22:16:47 PDT, seller added the following information: According to a corvette person that just text me if this car was an L82 the 5th digit of the vin# should be "T" and this car is a "J" which would make it the lower horsepower car according to him. I in no way want to misrepresent the car so do your homework. The vin # is 1Z67J5S401334. I am not a 1975 Corvette expert. The tag on the console says it is a 340 torque engine which would be the L82 and the interior is original. However, if that really is true, that the 5th digit should be a "T", then it isn't an L82. Even if it is the lower horsepower car it is stunning and runs amazing! I don't think 40hp makes that much of a difference in a 1975 anyway so bid on it as you wish, or retract your bid if thats an issue for you. It is a very-very nice car with one heck of a paint job! And maybe it isn't an L82. I would change the add but it ends in under 24hrs so ebay wont let me modify it, I can only add to it. (Sorry for the confusion)
