RARE!! RARE!! RARE!! I am selling my beautiful 1945 Chevy heavy half ton pickup.From what i found with some research the truck was built in Norwood Ohio in July 1945 and i was told sold in Bowling Green Ohio to a farmer and was never plated for the road. You had to get a CERTIFICATE OF WAR NECESSITY from the Goverment to buy this truck in 1945 because of the war and had to have a buisness and a need for a truck. The Truck just had a recent off the body nut and bolt restoration. 1945 Chevy trucks are very rare since everything was built for the war. This is 1 of aprox, 200 civilian 115 inch wheel base Half tons made in 1945 and even less Heavy Half's which is what this truck is. Do a online SEARCH and see how many you can find. Truck is all original with numbers matching motor/transmission. Truck has 115 miles on it since it was restored.May change some. The restoration took approximately 5 years to complete. Truck runs and drives perfect. I recentley purchased this truck with all intentions of keeping it but some unexspected things have came up so it is for sale. Also included is a rare 1945 Chevy truck brochure which is 2 sided and gives a lot of drawings and info on the truck, It is about 1 foot x 2 foot when open one paragraph from it reads From 1945 Chevrolet has been authorized to build light delivery pickup trucks on a 115 inch wheelbase chassis which will be offered by Chevrolet dealers to qualified essential users. I do have pictures of the brochure contact me for pics. A shop manual, original air breather and the brochure is included. Also included is the spare tire rack which mounts under the truck but it will be a couple weeks before it is done it is at the paint shop getting painted, And there is a original spare tire mounted on rim.If you want a beautiful truck that is a great investment then take a close look at this one because they are very rare and very hard to find.
