This Mustang originally was purchased from Clute Motors , Elmira/Horseheads , New York .I purchased it in 1982 , and it has been in the family for the past 33 years. The car has never been used for daily transportation ,it has always been a collector car.The car has always been garaged since I purchased it.The following has been done to the car ; 1983 - car was painted and rear lower quarter panels installed. New radiator and heater core. 1987 - new Ford front fenders and car repainted ,except for hood,roof and trunk. 1993 - new hydraulic lifters , new carburator . New brakes, master cylinder and wheel cylinders.Car driven to Salem ,Va. Where it stayed for 3 years. 1994 - Magnum 500 wheels and original rear window louver installed. 1996 - Car moved back to NY. 1998 - I gave the car to my daughter. She has owed it since then. Always garaged . 2000 - exhaust system replaced . The car had dual exhaust when I purchased it 2009 - new shocks and rear leaf springs.. 2010 - new belts, hoses & tune up. Coker red line tires. ( took off a Camaro I purchased ) Original steel wheels and hubcaps and set of goodyear tiempo whitewall tires also included. 2010 - torque boxes replaced. The under carriage , trunk area and floor boards are solid . The car has been kept in original condition, with a few original equipment options installed . The car has not been converted to use unleaded gas , lead additive needs to be added with each tank of unleaded gas.. It's a solid strong running car.The car has power steering and manual drum brakes The only apologies are the speaker area on the dash is split and the gas gauge no longer functions.The chrome bumpers are bright and shiny although they are pitted . The car had Ziebart done when purchased new . Car was last NY state inspected in Sept. 2013 , with no issues.
