2002 VW Golf GLS 1 owner garage kept. Car is in good shape but needs transmission work (possibly solenoid replacement, but I'm not willing to spend the $ to find out). NOT DRIVEABLE, NEEDS TRANSMISSION WORK, ONLY 1ST GEAR WORKS. Excellent paint, interior. All power options work including sunroof. All other mechanical aspects, except transmission, are in good working order. Tires, interior, exterior are all good. Rear bumper was bumped in sub 5mph hit, but we made their insurance company replace entire bumper. no hidden problems that I'm aware of. Car was serviced less than 500 miles ago. ie oil change, tires rotated, etc. This is an excellent car for a competent mechanic or do-it-yourselfer with the right resources. Local pickup preferred or will assist with shipping that buyer will pay for. Cash, cashiers check or money order only for local pickup only. Will do Paypal if needed. $250 deposit via paypal or full payment in hand for local pickup.
