I try to describe the positives & negatives of this vehicle accurately in this description. This Honda was traded in at a new-car Honda dealership in SE Michigan and I purchased the vehicle from them. I have put over 250 miles on this Honda and, for the most part, it is a pleasure to drive. The inline 4-cylinder engine runs strong with great fuel economy. The automatic CVT transmission works as it should and has no issues throughout the powerband. This Honda has all the options you really need like power windows and locks, cruise control, automatic transmission, air conditioning and much more. Mechanically, this Honda drives nicely as it is but will need attention to the hybrid-battery to be perfect. The gasoline engine & transmission are in good shape. I have not noticed any leaks on the ground where this Honda has been sitting. This is my first Honda Hybrid, so I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination on these cars. While driving, the IMA (hybrid system) is going into what is called recalibration mode rather frequently. When this happens, the battery assist stops working for a 1-2 minutes and the battery gauge drains to two bars. After a while, it shoots back up to normal and the hybrid system works again like normal with the battery motor assist and so on. The check engine light is on for codes P1570 and P0A7F, which indicate hybrid battery issues and occasionally (but not usually) the IMA dash light appears after a recalibration. From my research online, it looks likely that the hybrid battery will need to be replaced although some people have suggested it could be a simplier issue like a software update. I really do not know. I've found used battery packs online at very reasonable prices and it appears to be very easy to install them. All that being said, I still averaged 39 MPG according the computer over my 250 miles and saw about 42 MPG on the highway. Aside from that issue, the car is quite nice mechanically. The brakes stop the car smooth and straight. While driving the steering components appear to be in good shape, tight and straight. Overall, the suspension appears to be in decent shape but I have occasionally heard some shock noise from the front on bumpy roads. The tires are matching set of 195/65/15 Headway tires mounted on factory alloy hybrid wheels. There is some decent tread remaining (see pictures). The vehicle drives straight down the road. I have not noticed any vibrations while driving this vehicle. All the power options work like they should. The automatic climate control works and this Honda blows air on all blower levels and wherever you want it to (vents, defroster, etc). The AC is blowing cold and the heat is hot. The Honda is equipped with an OEM AM/FM/CD/AUX/XM-Ready radio- the radio powers up great and sounds good and even has steering-wheel audio controls. Like I mentioned before, the check engine light is illuminated and the IMA light comes and goes but there are no other warning lights illuminated. All of the gauges read properly and there are no abnormal readings. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to get in this one and drive it anywhere I needed to go. Cosmetically -- this car is in good shape. The paint shines good and aside from a few minor blemishes this is a sharp looking vehicle. As for negatives, the front bumper has some paint scrapes is not perfectly alligned, the right front headlight has some condensation in it, and there are some minor scratches along the passenger side (see pictures). There is a very little bit of rust in front of each rear wheel (see pics). At night, you can notice that the left front headlight appears to be pointing a little too far down and will need to be alligned. It is a pretty sharp looking little car with the alloy wheels and spoiler. The windshield has no large cracks but does have two very small chips on the driver side (hard to capture in pictures, but I tried). The interior is also in nice shape. No tears, rips, or burns. The door panels are all in-tact and in good shape. The carpets are all in good shape aside from normal discoloration and come with a heavy rubber set of floormats as shown. The tan seats show normal discoloration and would almost certainly clean up to excellent with a good steam-cleaning detail. The only quirks I've found with this car is that the keyless remotes both do not work (probably need batteries...and you get two OEM keys/fobs + a valet key), and that with one of the keys it can be tricky to get it into the door lock. Check out the pictures - they speak for themselves! I have tried to capture both the positives and the flaws in those pictures. Overall, this is a nice little Honda that will save you a ton of gas and look good doing it! I have tried my best to represent this vehicle accurately and to the best of my abilities. Earning and keeping a 100% positive feedback rating is very important to me! I purchase most of my vehicles as trade-ins from new car dealerships as traded. I test drive each vehicle on the expressway and around town for at least 20 miles, often over 100 miles, and use that experience to represent the vehicle to you on eBay. Please remember that you are buying a used vehicle and that a certain amount of wear/use/flaws are to be expected on any used vehicle -- including this one. This is the State of Michigan's rule, not mine...but from browsing eBay $10 is probably the cheapest temp-tag of any state and you will be able to drive your car immediately and legally. In Michigan, all cars sold over 10 years old are marked as mileage exempt in accordance with Federal law. Basically, this means that the State stops keeping track of mileage on older cars, however Autocheck still does track the mileage and this vehicle is not known to have any mileage inaccuracies or discrepancies.
