1989 FJ62 Land Cruiser Hello, and welcome to my auction. I am selling my beloved FJ62 in order to pay some recent medical bills. This rig has been my daily driver for the last few months and is very reliable. The engine runs strong and the transmission, transfer case and engine are all in excellent working condition. This car starts even on the coldest days and has been extremely reliable. This FJ62 can easily do 80mph on the highway. It can also go on 4x4 trails to get to the good fishing and hunting holes and carry all of your stuff with no worries. It is comfortable and roomy and is an automatic so the wife can tool around town in it too. I have had 20+ Land Cruisers in my day and this one is in my top 3. I love the old FJ45 trucks so those are my first two. I think the FJ62 has a better ride and interior than the FJ55 and a ton more power than the FJ80s. This thing is a beast. I really cannot find much bad to say about her and I know that the new owner will be really happy with this rig. Interior: The interior is in excellent overall condition. The dash and instrument clusters are all in great condition and everything on the dash works including the CD player. The carpet is in good condition but has some wear and some light staining. The seats are in excellent condition and are still very comfortable. There are no tears in the cushions of the seats and there is just one small cut in the vinyl on the side of the passenger side seat. Exterior: The FJ62 has original paint and only a little rust on the rear quarter panels and rear doors. There is also some clear coat that has pealed on the hood. The frame and undercarriage have minimal rust and are in great shape. The Land Cruiser has new tires that are less than a year old and an OME Old Man Emu” lift. The lift alone is worth a couple grand and it was installed less than 2 years ago. Engine: I had a mechanic check this vehicle out a few months back when I bought it and everything looks good. The engine, transmission, transfer case, and just about everything else was gone over and given the okay.Please take a look at my video walkthroughs that I have posted below.
