The rabbit ran great and is an awesome car, shifts smooth. I commuted with it about 1-2hrs a day. Right now it runs great when warmed up but when cold it idles rough. I recently changed the fuel filter so I think it's just air in my fuel lines but not completely sure. But you can still easily drive it home if you are semi-local. The Good StuffCan get 50mpg on the highway. Patina paint w/ surface rust spots but no real rust/rot. No "cancer" Weitec dampening adjustable coilovers (can go higher and or lower)Raised strut mounts. Raises the strut mounting point two inches for a better ride quality while maintaining the same height Giles Injection Pump (20-30% more whp and 10-20% more mpg) Makes it very fun to drive. BBS RZ wheels 14x6 et30 wheels w/ fresh powder coat. 20mm spacers in the rear. Tires about 50% treadAutopal H4 headlights with 100/90w bulbs with ceramic relay wiringChrome DS Flag mirror (black PS mirror) Lecarra old skool steering wheel84 Jetta dash (no cracks), PS lower jetta dash (rare piece but needs paint), and center console with vdo gauges (not currently hooked up)Corrado front seats in near mint condition (rear is stock)A lot of recent maintenance, lower coolant lines, glow plugs, new battery, oil change, fuel filter, high flow air filter. Timing belt in the last 10k miles. The Not So Good Stuff As I stated above, it runs great when the engine is up to temp but when it's cold it idles rough and smokes some. If I hold the gas pedal some, it smooths out. I'm pretty sure it's just air in the fuel line but I don't have time to get it checked out. Ugly temp carpet (in pics), I have a used OEM carpet and brand new synthetic padding that goes with it. No headliner.
