Restore or parts, this '58 has a nice solid body. The straight six runs and idles, but does need a tune up. Running from a portable gas tank. The Powerglide transmission was supposedly rebuilt, but I cannot verify that, however the fluid is nice and red. No power options. The car was originally Glen Green with a two tone green interior. All exterior trim seems present, needs clips. Gas tank is out and looks solid and needs a good cleaning and sealing. The floors are very rusty, and the front pans have been replaced with sheet metal, and someone did a pretty good job. The trunk floor has been neatly cut out, and some metal has been layed in nicely, but not finished. Frame is excellent. Looks like this guy sat around and the floors and driver's side rocker panel were the only areas that rusted badly. The rest of the body is amazingly solid. Front fenders need to be bolted back on. We had the brake drums off to clean the brakes out, and they all are complete and look good, we found one bad brake line in the rear that needs to be replaced, as well as brake hoses. There are a bunch of parts that go with the car, as you can see. Windshield is cracked and just sitting there, rear glass is missing, as well as the passenger side front door glass. Windshield and rear glass rubbers are in the trunk, as well as most of the trim for the windows. Rear seat is missing. Door panels and headliner is missing. Spare tire well, quarters and doglegs are all very solid. Car has an Indiana paperwork from 1961. This is a major project, or a great parts car. There is no battery. Depending on how much the car does, I may leave the wide whites on it, otherwise I'll replace them with skinny white radials. The Olds rims go with the car. Car rolls and steers fine, and you can hear it run if you want. Located in Ocala, Florida, 34470.
