Nice Volkswagen Tiguan, runs and drives great. Selling to buy a larger SUV. I've owned it for two years, during which time it had extended factory warranty, so complete maintenance was done. New timing chain tensioner, so no need to worry about that Tiguan issue. Prior to buying it, it was owned by the Volkswagen corporate office in Florida, where the 19" Volkswagen rims, 255 40R 19 tires, and running boards were added. Also the nice off-road trim package that goes around the wheel wells and body. The look and stance these items provide a better look than any other Tiguan I've seen. Bad things: A piece of trim by the passenger front tire is missing after a trip to the mall. Since the trim is screwed on, I believe it may have been removed/stolen by someone needing the piece. On the interior, I replaced a trim piece around the dash navigation system, since it was cracked when I bought it. However the carbon fiber is just a slightly different shade than the rest. There is some paint flaking around the front grill area. Carfax shows one accident prior to my owning it. Given the minor paint flaking around the Volkswagen emblem in front, it appears that damage was localized to the grill area and repaired. What leads me to think that is that the paint on the rest of the body is excellent, with no evidence of the fenders having been repaired or paint matched. Good things: Electric windows, door locks, touch screen navigation, MP3 player attachment, black leather interior, oil freshly changed. Front 25540R19 Hankook Wintercept Evo winter tires are same size as the rear, only with winter tread and less than 5,000 miles. Rear tires and extra two tires are HankookVentus V12 Evo and have less than 15,000 miles. Body is rust-free, paint is excellent. Nicely maintained and driven, great look, dependable.
