Vehicle Detail
Very low 9588 miles. Clean title (in hand). Runs perfectly, very fast and fun. Only body issue is a quarter sized scuff on right fairing where it got pushed up against a garage wall while in storage. Easy enough to fix with a little touch-up paint if it's bothersome. Never dropped, always adult ridden. Regular maintenance. Tires have good life left. Chain has less than 100 miles on it. Just a really clean, well maintained bike. I'm only selling it because I bought a Ducati and don't need two bikes. Custom options: Yoshi performance exhaust, custom carbon-fiber saddle with gel insert (very comfy), and comes with battery maintainer and installed plug for same on battery. Otherwise, it's stock and ready for your customization if you would like to do so. KBB values it at $4,225 if it had 21,000 miles. It only has 9588 miles, so, uh, yea... NADA values it at $4,616, again with average miles. It has very low miles. I've set the Buy it Now at a discount from retail, so please consider that. First serious buyer gets it. Please no low-ball offers to purchase outside of eBay. E-mail with questions or to arrange to see it. Bike is located in DeKalb, Illinois and available for inspection most evenings and weekends. Transportation after sale the responsibility of buyer, but I'm happy to work with a transport company if you have one. $500 deposit from winner within 48 hours, balance due in cash upon pick-up, or by cash-like transaction (i.e. bank wire or cashier's check), cleared, prior to picking up. You're welcome to use an escrow service if you like, but fees will be buyer's responsibility. If you need some other arrangement, please contact me before bidding and we can discuss. Look at my feedback, I'm not going to steal your money. So let's make this a clean and easy transaction! Thanks for looking! On Apr-13-15 at 04:08:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Thanks for the e-mails folks. Here are answers to the common questions: * If you come to pick up the bike and it isn't exactly as described, I'll hand you your money back (all of it, including any deposits) and you can be on your way. No negative feedback will be left. It's as described, probably a lot better than described. No mysteries. * The deposit is only to make sure you can come up with the funds for the bike. Paypal is fine for paying the deposit (and the whole bike, for that matter). You'd be surprised how many people have shown up to buy various vehicles from me over the years and wanted to negotiate a hundred dollar per month payment plan on a $30k car that they said they had the cash to buy on delivery. So if the deposit is not something you can come up with, then let's be honest you probably can't afford the bike. So sorry, I am not willing to waive the requirement for some sort of deposit, especially if you're not picking it up right away. * The advertised mileage is as of when the listing went up. I think there are maybe 50 more miles on it now from a couple of test rides and me taking it around the block a couple of times. Nothing significant. * No, I won't accept less than the minimum bid of $3500. The bike is worth $1000 more than that, and the buy it now is even under the book value. Given the condition this bike is in and how stock it is and well cared for, under $3500 is not reasonable. Also, there are some local offers waiting for the auction to close at or above that value. Sorry. Please stop with the $2000 offers in e-mail. * Yes, I really am a high school chemistry teacher. On Apr-14-15 at 09:07:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Please note that final payment must be cleared prior to taking possession of the bike (see above about the cash or cash-like requirement) . If you're using Paypal or an escrow service, that means the payment must be beyond any charge-back period (except the deposit, which I'm willing to take a risk on). Paypal is particularly unfriendly about this kind of thing, offering virtually no seller or buyer protections of any kind on vehicle transactions. So that might be quite a wait for the transaction to finish. I don't mind Paypal transactions, or storing the bike until funds clear, or waiting a bit for my funds, but that could be a while before you can pick up your new toy! Escrow services or cash on pickup might be a better choice. On Apr-15-15 at 13:28:45 PDT, seller added the following information: And yes, the title is in my name, completely free and clear of all liens and loans, no salvage flags or odometer discrepancies.
