Vehicle Detail
This has been my personal car for the last 13 years. I've put over 250k on her and it's definitely emotional to give her up. Any vehicle with over 300,000 miles has some wear as you can see in the pictures. I will list out, to the best of my knowledge, the good, bad and the ugly. The GOOD:Transmission was replaced at 180,000 miles and serviced regularly and shifts perfectlyAC blows nice and coldTires are at about 90%Exhaust was replaced a year ago and is perfectShocks replaced at 300,000Brakes have 10,000 miles on themFactory radio and power antenna work All windows, sunroof , power steering wheel and power seats workShe drives nice and smooth, quiet and gets about 23mpg on the highwayRear defroster worksHead, valves, guides, springs, timing chain, chain guides, radiator replaced at 300,000k (it was a $3200 job)Doesn't use, burn or leak any oil. The BAD:The windshield has a star on the right and a crack on the left below viewThe sunroof leaks in very heavy rainThe locks partially workThe catalytic injector pump is noisy on start upProbably could use new motor mounts at some point. You can feel it when it's cold. The left side hood hinge has rusted out, and the hood will not completely close. It latches on the emergency latch. The power steering is leaking. The heat fades in and out until finally settling on heat. I think the little mono valve needs to be replaced sooner or later. One of the auxiliary fans died, and I removed it hoping to replace it or rebuild the motor, but never got the time. The other one was replaced a little while ago and works fine, both low speed AC and high speed. The UGLY-Seats are worn accordingly with 350k milesThe left fender is rusted out with the hood hinge, as mentioned above and would have to be replaced to get the hood to close properly againThe hood cracked the right side headlight surround on topThere is some rust starting in both rear quarters by the bumperThere is some rust under the rear windshield on the right sideThe rear bumper has some chips and the chrome is rusting throughThere is some curb rash on the wheels. (they clean up though, i didn't have time to wash her this weekend, otherwise the wheels are nice) Please email me with any questions, and I'll be happy to answer them. The vehicle is as is and is located in West Milford NJ. Thanks!
