Up for sale is my beloved 2006 Volkswagen Jetta TDI, 4-door sedan. The auction is NO RESERVE. The car comes equipped with the cold weather package and MANY extras as you can see from the pictures. I am the second owner of the vehicle and have babied the car since I've owned it. Oil has always been changed at 5000 miles (even before the 10,000 mile manufacturer suggestion for the diesel engine). The paint is the original and rare north sea-green color. They no longer make the Jetta in this color and the paint shines and looks great in the sun. The best part about the car...40 MPG!!! No more worrying about gas prices or constantly having to fill up. This is a great commuter car...as you can see from the mileage it was mostly used for highway driving. It is a diesel engine so have no worries about the longevity of the car as most diesels can go for over 300K miles. I have loved this car since THE DAY I bought it, but have decided to part ways with it as I have purchased a newer Jetta TDI. The TDI is an AWESOME car and I had to go with another one because I was so happy with how this one performed. I have upgraded the entire entertainment system in the car. I put in a PIONEER AVIC dvd/navigation/cd system. It has been wired so video can play whether your parking brake is on or not. The navi system works great and talks to you while you're driving. It come with a hookup for an iPhone so you can charge/ play music from your phone. The system is also wired to have an amp and subs hooked up. I had them, but they were put in the other car. All the wiring is complete though. All you need to do is buy them and plug the wires in...they are currently wired and awaiting an amp in the trunk. I had the car wired for a back-up camera for when you're reversing. The camera wires broke off...all you need to do is solder them back onto the camera and your good or buy a new backup cam, the unit is capable of utilizing a back up cam. I will also include the factory stereo that the aftermarket has replaced in case you want to sell that or put the factory back in and sell the aftermarket PIONEER. The car comes with HEATED, leather seats. The drivers side has some wear as you can see from the pictures. In the interest of full disclosure I will try my best to describe any and ALL issues with the car that I've had so you can buy WITH CONFIDENCE, please don't hesitate to ask me any questions you may have about the car. The check engine light is on and has been off/on for the past year. I have had the light diagnosed by my mechanic and the VW dealer shop. They both told me it was the "fuel injection sensor" and said there was no need to do anything or replace anything as this part would not effect the car or performance in any way so I have left the light on. I have driven the car for well over a year with no issues relating to the check engine light. The interior light warning is on as well, I think it may be the light under the hood or in the trunk. All the headlights, taillights, and back-up lights function as they should. The pictures I took of the car are with the aftermarket headlights in...they will come with the car as well, but I decided to put the factory headlights back in a few months ago. The car looks sharp both ways. The grill, as you can see in the one picture, was backed into and has a very small edge out that is only noticeable when you are close to the car. The wheels have some curb rash on them that only affects the appearance and not their performance. I bought the car with the wheels like that, the previous owner parallel parked a lot and didn't do a great job of it. When you shift into third gear and push the stick in with too much force you hear a grind. It rarely happens and will never happen if you shift with care. All the gears perform perfectly. The passenger side mirror no longer blinks when your turn signal is on...the regular turn signal on the front and rear lights works perfectly it is just the blinker on the side mirror. This may be the reason for the dash light warning on the instrument bezel. The turbo works very well and gives the car plenty of pick-up especially for a 4 cylinder. The car comes with a clear title and a PA state inspection good until December 2015. The car was in one accident since I have owned the car. It was mostly exterior damage to the front end. It was professionally repaired and looked better than new after the repairs. The front tires were recently replaced as well as the front brakes. The rear tires are BRAND NEW with less than 100 miles on them. The timing belt, timing tensioner, belt roller, water pump were all replaced on 10/2014. Coolant hoses were replaced on 3/14. The transmission, clutch, and flywheel were all replaced on 2/12 at 170,700 miles with documentation. I put a brand new battery in the car last week. I hate to see the car go, but like I mentioned I bought a newer one and want to see someone else enjoy this car as much as I did. The car comes with cloth mats AND monster mats for the winter.
