Up for auction is a rare 1988 Toyota Pickup, SR5, King Cab, V6, 5 speed, 4x4, with all the factory options. ORIGINAL PAINT. Bucket seats, power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt steering, power mirrors, brush guard, sunroof, A/C, sliding rear window. The truck is in good shape with only a few dents and dings. The engine and heads were completely rebuilt 20k miles ago along with u-joints and wheel bearings. Now for the negative: engine has a small skip on #4 cylinder, mechanics diagnosis is exhaust valve is out of adjustment (he said it is normal to need a valve readjustment after a few thousand miles on these engines after a rebuild), no radio, dent in bed at the gas door and light dings in the body from normal wear and tear, a/c needs recharge (I took off the belt last fall), ONLY 1 small rust spot on drivers side of bed at body seam forward of the wheelwell- no rust anywhere else, the interior is showing its age for a 27 year old truck with tears in the driver seat, 1 crack in dash, and cracked center console surround.
