Vehicle Detail
Own a piece of American history. Built in Dearborn, Michigan, this is a 1956 Ford Thunderbird, the same make and model featured in American Graffiti. It's got low miles, only 56,433. The body and interior are in great shape, there's some surface rust on it. My friend's dad bought it in March 1989, put about 400 miles on it and parked it in the garage where it's been ever since. It ran great then, we haven't tried to start it because it's been so long, we didn't want to mess anything up. It has both a hard and soft top. We have a new water pump and gasket in the box. If you have questions or want to see more pictures please message us and we'll try answer them. Thank you!On Mar-31-15 at 20:34:27 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: When we tried to move the car out of the garage for pictures it wouldn't budge, we believe the brakes are locked up. Sorry I didn't note this sooner. On Apr-01-15 at 09:18:20 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE 2: We went over to our friend's house today to get a few more pictures that bidders had asked for. I've added one that shows the fraying on the driver's side seat, I think it's a little longer than I first noted, we didn't get a measuring tape out. I still don't know how to tell what engine it has in it. And, THERE IS NO SOFT TOP. We though there was a soft top laying in the back window but upon further inspection discovered that it's not a top at all. I'm sorry about that. I've included a picture so you can see how we were confused. I've also added a few shots form under the car. Thanks.
