BEST FEATURE: I "maxxed out" the CPO warranty when I bought this car, so that it is under full Mercedes CPO factory warranty until the end of July 2015. In other words, you should feel highly confident that this gorgeous, no-accidents everyday supercar is mechanically sound (with all service done at Beverly Hills Mercedes and Keyes Mercedes since new), and if any issues were to arise you could go straight to a Mercedes dealer and they'd be taken care of under warranty. THIS IS NOT A THIRD-PARTY WARRANTY -- IT'S THE REAL-DEAL MERCEDES CPO WARRANTY. Translation: hassle-free! For all the moving parts and technology, the SL63 has been a terrific ownership experience, giving less-than-expected (and indeed, less-than-most-marques') problems requiring time at the dealership. The 2009 "Silver Arrow" edition: Introducing the 6.3 engines to the SL AMG line, Mercedes ran 100 specimens in Designo "Silver Arrow" special paint that really pops in a way Iridium does not, over a deep "Salsa Red" interior with Piano Black wood inlays. The Silver Arrows featured every available option for the SL63, except for the Distronic Cruise Control, which was the only option and rarely included. So, this car is fully loaded, gorgeous, and drives with an unbelievable mix of poise, handling, sportiness, high-class swish, and sheer brutality! It's surprisingly sporty in the hills on curvy roads, while at the same time it delivers locomotive-like solidity on freeway trips. The clincher is its equally great looks with the hardtop up or down in convertible road. The Silver Arrow is truly an all-seasons hot rod. The included "P30" Performance Package adds larger brakes, a limited slip differential, smaller-diameter steering wheel, different rims, and altered transmission and suspension programming resulting in a top speed limited to about 190 MPH. It is a ridiculously confidence-inspiring automobile that's remarkably easy to drive!
