Offered for sale my 1969 Camaro SS RS 396 finished Hugger Orange This car outstanding car has been owned by me for the past 12 years. Real code 72 black deluxe interior, LA built big block Camaro A full on rotisserie restoration was performed in 2010, this was a 99% rust free car that retains all original factory born with body panels. Meaning original fenders quarters rockers dash etc. There were a couple spots under the vinyl top and a few holes in the trunk floor, That's IT! This car was totally dis assembled, media blasted and re finished in Dupont basecoat clearcoat . Body is laser straight with excellent panel fit. Floors were epoxy primed and painted semi gloss black . Subframe and suspension components were powder coated in satin black. all new suspension components,bushings,body mounts brake and fuel lines were installed. Entire brake system is new . All new underhood wiring and vacuum hoses,headlights work as they should. All exterior trim was either replaced or restored. All New glass, power windows work as they should. Deluxe interior is also in excellent condition. All new weatherstrips seals etc. This car still retains its original 325 horse 396 engine block that was rebuilt to stock specs, all parts were rebuilt or restored including carburetor and distributor.engine compartment is finished off with correct hoses and clamps .Turbo 400 was also rebuilt I do not think it is original though . Brand New Torque Thrust wheels and new tires. I have 14 x 7 rally wheels with Polyglas tires that could be swapped if new owner desires Options: SS RS 396, power steering, power disc front brakes, power windows deluxe interior,clock , tach, floor shifter with console and gauges, vinyl top 12 bolt psi rear end .It also has a Custom Autosound fm am radio with modern speakers, cowl hood was assed by prev. owner I have driven this car very little since it's completion although I did race it at the Pure Stock Drags and the FAST pure stock race with a 425 hp 427, this motor is available if so desired. there are several youtube videos and some pics in muscle car magazines. This is a really nice car and I hate to let it go, but I am moving in another direction and it is time for someone else to enjoy this great car.
