1936 Ford 5 Window Rumble Seat Coupe This is a true traditional styled early Ford hot rod.  This 36 has been hiding in storage for the last 25 years and it was just pulled out and gone through in order to get it back on the road.   Features include: 1947 Mercury Flathead Isky 3/4 Race Cam and Springs Edelbrock 8.75 Aluminum Heads Edmunds Intake Manifold with 2 Rebuilt Stromberg 97 Carbs Fenton Cast Headers Rebuilt 1939 Ford 3 Speed Transmission New Clutch and Pressure Plate Lightened Flywheel Dual Exhaust 4" Drop Front Axle   Drop Steering Arms Reversed Eye Rear Spring with 3 Leafs Removed Tube Shocks Front and Rear Liners Between Each Leaf Spring Hydraulic Brakes Front and Rear (39-48 Ford Drums) Later Steering Box Converted to 12v with Battery in Rumble Seat Footwell Electric Fuel Pump Electric Fan Optional Heater Oversized Radiator New Tires On Freshly Sandblasted and Painted Wheels with New Hubcaps 4 SW Gages Mounted Below The Dash Custom License Plate Mount To Cover Spare Mount I do not know the original build date for this old hot rod.  I was able to trace the history back to 1989 but the trail ends there.  I have the fifth wide five wheel as well as the original spare mount, rear license plate bracket, and left taillight.  Please call Stephen at 860-214-7413 with any questions or if you would like to come see the car.
