Up for auction is this stunning 1 owner 1983 Mercedes-Benz 380SL Roadster finished in Astral Silver Metallic over Grey leather interior. This gorgeous SL left the Mercedes-Benz production line in November of 1982 and shipped to Phoenix Motor Company in Phoenix Arizona. The car sold new to its first owner on December 29, 1982 and has been a Scottsdale/Phoenix car since day one. The car is in exceptional original condition and is completely rust free. The Astral Silver paint is 100% original and untouched. The interior is in excellent condition and is also completely original and untouched. The leather is still very soft and free from wear or damage. All of the carpets are all original and shows no signs of wear or stains. The dash is original and does not have any dash cracks or damage. All of the wood is still in excellent condition and does not have any cracking or discoloration. The convertible top is original and only been up out of the storage compartment a couple of times. All of the lights are in working order, the original Becker radio is working along with the power antenna. The AC blows ice cold and the heater is blowing warm. The car starts right up and runs and driver superb. There are no leaks under the car and the engine does not smoke. This SL idles smoothly and shifts through all of its gears with ease. It runs and drives without any issues. All of the original owners manuals are present with the car including all of the quick guides, original window sticker, purchase docs and pre delivery docs from Phoenix Motor Company. Every single service and maintenance receipt from brand new is present with the car, the original power antenna cleaner, dealer books, service books and help guides are all present.
