I am trying a different format to sell this very well taken care of 1985 CJ7 Laredo , that has undergone a complete frame on restoration. I have tried to keep the CJ as near original as practical .The instrument panel, dash pad, leather wrapped grab bar, pedals, and shift levers are all original and well preserved. Everything works as it should. Restoration was completed within the last 2 years and I still find little projects that I enjoy doing on Jeep. The engine is the original 4.2 liter straight 6 cylinder matched to the original T5 manual transmission. The engine and transmission were rebuilt by previous owner and has less than 2000 miles on it. A new center force clutch was put in. Very reliable set up. I do not know the gearing. It has Dana transfer and Axles. The engine does not smoke or burn any oil. Really good running CJ. Jeep has 3" suspension lift and with the like new 33x12.5 Mud Brute Tires , just put on brand new shocks this past weekend. The top is brand new and the half soft doors are in great shape. I restored this CJ to be used as a "Sunday Driver", and that is how it has been used. With that said, this jeep could be driven daily and driven anywhere. The Jeep is a real eye catcher and I am routinely approached by off road enthusiast. I am selling Jeep because we have just listed our home and will not have storage.
