Up for sale is a fair condition Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer with 4WD and the 4.0 V6 engine. Major defects listed above, truck has been pretty reliable despite the issues. purchased 5 years ago for the arrival of a new family member and has served us well since. We are now moving on to a newer, more fuel efficient vehicle so we must sell. The vehicle recently had a tune-up, but only gets an average of 12 to 14 miles per gallon. Paint is in fair condition for its age, there are a few blemishes on the exterior which are shown in the pictures. Headlights only work on high beam as described above, but fortunately aren't bright enough to upset other driver's on the road. Have replaced both bulbs, believed to be an electrical issue. Power steering "snags" as described above, after vehicle is warmed up it becomes easier to turn. Other recent services include new fuel pump, rear window motor replacement on both sides, coolant flush and fill, transmission fluid drain and fill, tires with about 7k miles on them, and air filter change. Would like to see it go to somebody who could use a sturdy, 4WD SUV rather than junking it so hence the sale. Price is negotiable.
