This 1988 Cadillac DeVille with a 4.5 Liter V-8 was purchased from a Pennsylvania estate in 2006 with 38,000 on the odometer. It is my understanding that I am the second owner. I have owned the vehicle since 2006 and a rebuilt engine was installed at 39,000 miles. The odometer currently is at 71,933 The vehicle was last driven in January 2015. At that time the alternator failed and required replacement. The alternator was removed, but it has not been replaced/repaired. A new battery is also required. The vehicle runs, but has a carburetor issue. A very good and skilled mechanic will be able to address the engine and carburetor issues. Once these issues are rectified this Caddy will be a very good vehicle to own as a daily driver. This luxury sedan Cadillac DeVille with Aluminum Alloy Wheels seats six and is distinctive in style. The body and interior are in excellent vintage condition, but the vehicle does require mechanical attention. Once this vehicle is running it cruises and will turn heads. The Gray Leather interior is in very good condition. There are no rips or tears to the leather. Since owning this vehicle I have invested over $10K in maintenance and upkeep. I no longer have the desire to continue to keep this beautiful Cadillac. This vehicle has most every option that was available. Additionally, two key fobs with remote theft deterrent system lock and unlock the doors with an alarm; a Trunk release is also on the remote. The trunk is equipped with the Power Pull Down option. Six Way Power Driver split bench front seating. The front Passenger seat fully reclines; a switch at the side of the passenger seat completely reclines the seat. Dual Power Mirrors. Kenwood Audio Premium Stereo with a removable face plate. Telescopic and Tilt Steering Wheel, Power Trunk, Power Antennae, Power Windows, Twilight Sentinel, Cruise Control, Variable Delay Windshield Wipers. Air Conditioning does not work. The driver side door is presently inoperable and requires a repair. Pick up this vehicle in Palos Hills, Illinois. The vehicle is parked at an automotive repair shop. Pick up with a Flat Bed truck is recommended. Alternatively, the mechanics at this shop are qualified to perform the necessary repairs to get this vehicle running.
