Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1963 Ford Falcon Futura 4-door that I purchased in April 2014. The car has the original 260 V8 engine and Ford-O-Matic 2-speed trans with only 33,000 original miles on the odometer. I purchased the car from ebay back in April of 2014 and installed $1000 in new chrome bumpers to finish the exterior, replaced the oem front drum brakes with a new SBCC disc brake kit and replaced the radiator with a Champion 3-core aluminum and chrome overflow tank for better cooling in the summer. Car is spotless inside and out and gets SO MUCH attention at local car shows and is an instant trophy winner. Has a custom AM/FM/CD/MP3 radio hidden in the glovebox with kick panel speakers and two subs and amp in the trunk. It has new American Racing wheels and Kumho tires. I've also added other small items to dress it up like the oem trunk matting, matching Falcon bag for the trunk, and replaced the rear trunk lid logo emblem. I purchased a leather floor console (with drink holder) to keep the drinks off the seats and for additional interior storage. Everyone either had a Falcon or knew someone with one. Now you don't see them and one's like this are very rare. I have $15000+ in the car but selling for less to make room for a new project. It's not a 100% perfect car for being 52 years old and I'll point out the issues now so you will know I'm not hiding anything. It's the original 1963 engine and trans and it does have a very small oil leak (a few drops now and then). It is very drivable and reliable but can be noticed in a drip pan after a trip out around town or to a show. After 52 years it could use a new gasket or two. The original trans works fine and shifts ok but it too has a small leak. Neither are major that would prevent the car from being driven and I check it prior to use and have yet to add any fluids. I had planned to pull the drivetrain and rebuild the engine and trans this winter but came across another project and now need to sell this one. I'll eat the cost of what the rebuild would be by starting the bidding at my lowest price I can go without losing my marriage. The pictures show the detail of the resto and it definitely catches everyone's attention when driving or at a show. It's a blast to drive around and get thumbs up from others. Questions, just ask. For cash payments (no trade offers or anything else) a $500 deposit via PayPal is required within 24 hours of the auction close and the remainder due at pick up. I will assist with your arranged shipping if needed. I have all the restoration documentation, paint codes and additional parts from the original restoration shop. The pictures do not show the oem chrome trim for the windows and doors but I have it and it's included. I also have the oem air cleaner and other miscellaneous parts. I have a custom car cover that comes with the vehicle and will include the hula monkey for the dash! It's never been in the rain and always garage kept since owning it. Open to reasonable cash offers via message since I can't get eBay's Best Offer option to work with the listing.
